I hated this when I posted it in mockery of her Pop past on facebook a few weeks ago. That's just what I get. Because I started to crave listening to it. And Today I searched for it again, and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It's like a 90's POP Crack.
This was one of the songs for Corey Haim's movie Just One of The Girls, and I remember loving it, but I had NO idea this was Alanis Morrisette. It's so weird, it's like seeing two different people with two different personalities, this shows that people would really do ANYTHING for fame :-s
just goes to show you need to change yourself.... whether she's singing this or something from flavors of entanglement you can tell she means it... thanks for the post
Dave Coulier missed out! He f&*^%d! things up. He never again knew the glory that was Alanis Morrisette! ^..^ ( ffs people! she even pulled off being GOD! )
This is really good! I loved Jagged Little Pill, but hated her next album and haven't bothered to check out any of her stuff since. She's too yodel-y and moody for my taste these days. But I love this pop style from her! Pity she'll never sing this way now. I'm off to search for her two pop albums...
even if she was sixteen, she already had a great voice... It doesn't seem at all a 16yo-girl's voice... man, it's weird... Alanis surrounded by some shirtless and six-packed man :O
@Chebva Uhhh....Her talent is showcased much better in the music she sings today I'm not just refering to Jagged Little Pill. But Have you ever seen a live performance of Uninvited? Or heard Orchid? check them out before you dismiss her newer stuff.
She should have stuck to being a pop star, instead of writingalbums like jagged little pill. All of herl ast 3 CDs pretty much have sucked in comparison to her original canadian music. The lyrics and the sound as well as her positive attitude in this video in contrast with her bs self in her newer albums makes me hate her current self, and yes i saw her on "You Can't Do That On Telivision!" I loved that show as a kid.
Here's a fun Alanis fact for you. She starred in a Canadian TV show called, You Can't Do That On Television. She was in 18 episodes. It aired from 1979 till 1990.
It's weird when they start in show biz young, because when they grow up and you see how long they've actually been around, it makes them seem real old
You might be able to get it on Amazon, on CD. Amazing how one artist can adapt their music, into so many different forms. Her music really does evolve quite well.
I've been aware of Alanis since she was on YCDTOT (lived on Canadian border.) So, when I saw Robin Sparkles, she reminded me of young Alanis and not the other way around.
Yea, I never thought that Alanis would have had a career like this--until I saw the "Walk Away" music video some odd months ago. And honestly, I love both of her styles.
On my top 40 personal chart I am currently charting both "Feel Your Love" and "Walk Away". I can do that because it's my chart! LOL. Anyway I especially love "Feel Your Love" because it has that gospel choir feel to it.

Okay, this song is actually kinda decent. No wonder Alanis has said that if this stuff were released, she wouldn't be embarrassed :-)

I noticed her on what was the Nickelodeon premier show "You can't do that on....". She said "I don't know." and it was all over. Slimed on tv

Not a bad pop song (for an early 90's pop song that is) but doesn't really suit her.

IS she embarrassed by this? She strikes me as the type of person who is at peace and not shameful of anything she's done in her past.

She looks good but the Jagged Little Pill and beyond is much better!!!
