what is the difference between a resistive screen and a capasitive screen

resistive screen works by the pressure of the object pushing on two layers of the screen making them connect allowing the screen to work.

capacitive screen works by the electro field by the persons finger

example:

lg env touch has a resistive touch screen while the iphone/ ipod touch has a capacitive touch screen.

i've heard the enV touch was very... bad... like it resets your personal settings, the battery power is REALLY low. and the touch screen is just okay... would you agree? or would you recommend this phone to everyone?

this phone rocks! i got it on the 20th of june, it works perfect. the battery could of been better, cause whenever i listen/purchase music like 1 or 2 bars go down. or when i play a game a bar goes down. other then that i love it!

but for the Myspace and Facebook question

you need a data plan if you don't have one then you pay $1.99 for each megabyte.

well technically no if you text alot and use the browser or listen to music but if you dont do that then yea the battery will last for at least 2 or 3 days.

yes it is a strong phone it doesnt really scratch easily unless you actually try to scratch it then maybe yes.

well you first take your picture then your contacts and then go to your name card at the bottom of the contacts then you click edit then go to picture then find your picture of you and just click it it will automaticly set as ur picture id.
