I am your age and I also like them, but I always find it problematic to say that the music of a certain time is better than the music today. Okay, maybe we like it more than much of the music of today, but the same things were said about "modern" music when we were young, then older people said that the music of the 50's was "real" music. Imo there is always good and bad music, no matter what time. Sweet definately rocks!

Andrew David Scott - born Wrexham, Wales - one of the classic line up members of Sweet and has only played in "The Elastic Band" pre sweet and a couple of other "lets do something different" bands for a laugh like Paddy Goes to Hollyhead.... sorry - he never played in Motley Crue - actually - Sweet influenced MC tremendously but were never very fond of them...... in fact had a dig at them on one of their last AS Sweet Albums..... called Crudely Mott..... great song actually.

Oh mg god I love this song sooo much! I recently bought the album The Best of Sweet but it was made in 1993. I listened to the entire cd after I got home. This one is my ABSOLUTE favorite aff that cd! I listened to it atleast 5 times in a row after I heard it the first time and now I'm shocked that this one wasn't as big as the rest of their songs. I think it's AMAZING!!

Ahh, Half of the original Sweet may be gone but their music will live on forever.
