This is inconclusive. The 2 panoramic photos were not taken at the same time of year. The old photo has much more snow cover than the new one. I don't care about all these global warming debates, this is reather dramatic. the fact is, yes the glacier is going to be different now then at mallory'a time, but this is a huge change and if it's changed and dissappeard this much over the last 80 odd years, how long will it be unill it is completely gone?

yes it is getting warmer at the rate of 10% every billion years, thats 0.00001% every century, or a 10% increase since any life existed on earth.
There is a solar cycle of around a 10 year period but we have just been through the low point last year.
