I don't think anybody can say they don't do it mostly for compliments. If nobody likes them what's the point of making them? Compliments feel good. As far as effecty videos go; everybody has there own style of editing and what they are good at, it doesn't mean they are bad editors (:

@horsecrazey123 I think some people make videos for the attention. Not because they need it. Not because they want to share a little bit of them to the world and maybe.. inspire others. And some effecty videos, videos that use overused, radio garbage songs.. Yeah. That's not creative. Anyone can throw a crapload of effects onto a screen but not everyone can get feelings through a video across to human beings over a computer screen.
