  • hey you use the same rainbow effect i use! good form, steve cook would b proud!

  • When you are doing lock grip you do not use straps. When you are using the grip technique this guy uses you use straps. Without straps and lock grip this guy could lift 200kg easy and do more reps most probably . I know because at the moment I can deadlift 190KG with the grip this guy is using with straps. I can also deadlift 190KG lock grip without straps and get more reps out of it.

  • strongly I have to say, want to reach that level myself, for now I can say I can manage 130 kg for 6 reps in 6 sets, I am proud of that at least ^^

  • Deadlifting the rainbow!, great lifts man.

  • Nice work bro! i think I'm a boss lifting 180 for 2, but 200 for 5 is some serious lifting!

  • how heavy are you bro!?

  • nice lift man, how much can you snatch and clean&jerk?

  • Amazing work but try not to shrug with ur arms or u will tear ur bicep with that weight one day

  • Oh and lose the belt too

  • He did it slow and didn't use the floor to bounce it up .. man thats strong props :) I hate it when people do it wrong.

  • Nice strong lifting! And for the people who think this isn't 200kg, count again those plates. It has 4 blue plates (80kg), 4 green plates (40kg), 2 red plates (50kg) and 2 white steel plates (10kg) and one bar (20kg) which makes total weight 200kg.

  • strong man is strong

  • lose the straps and actually let the weights hit the floor between each rep, otherwise you aren't lifting 'dead' weight - it makes it a lot easier if you keep the weight from the floor.

  • @Auxois

you sound like you dont know shit. have you attempted anything over a 160 kg deadlift? hitting the floor makes it way easier to lift. also, so what if he's using straps? got any videos of you doing anything over 100? youtube shit talkers.

  • @desyphix Why are people actually impressed , honestly it sounds like nobody here can deadlift. I did not say he should bounce it off the floor, but if you don't put it back on the floor it isnt a fucking deadlift, or he should change the title of the video. So what if he is using straps? Well it means he has a shit grip.

  • @Auxois A well controlled lift just above the floor can be much, much more intensive than lifting the weight, dropping it and lifting it again. The actual lift isn't the only part of the exercise which trains your muscles. Many people just drop the weight but for once, try to put the weight down slowly, it can easily take 2-3 seconds.

This is a training video after all.

  • @MrHellhammer666 The video should be labelled 1 deadlift and 4 romanians. And if you are deadlifting you are only interested in the 'dead' part of the lift. Anyway, no one seems to get it so carry on. just at least ditch the straps, they are gay as hell

  • @Auxois its actually harder when it dosen't hit the floor because it continuously making your body lift the weight and when you hit the floor sometimes the bounce can help you alot as in benching to on your chest .. taking it slow requires alot of strength and control, so props to this dude. I doubt you could do what he just did by your know all attitude sound like a noob, unless you post a vid showing yourself doing so .. haters gon hate yet again :) ...

  • @Ilieknoodles No...it is harder to put it on the floor, set back up and lift again (notice I didn't mention bouncing it) If you don't it isnt a DEADlift...the clue is really in the name. And you really, really shouldn't need straps to hold on to 200 kg.

  • @Auxois fair play mate, you talk some shite!! I use straps and deadlift, so does that make we weak?? people use straps for different reasons, lack of grip, injuries etc..... so saying people should not need straps is a stupid comment really!

Closest you come to deadlifting is getiting out of bed I expect,....

  • @manypack101 Do you use straps because of injury? Straps are ok, they just shouldnt be relied upon, surely you would rather be able to deadlift without using them - it just looks so much better for one thing. I dont understand your lack of grip point, how are you supposed to increase your grip if you use straps all the time? I see people using straps for bicep curls.. And yes, I never deadlift but just enjoy viewing and occasionally critiquing deadlifting videos, you sure caught me out there...

  • brilliant lifting man keep it up

  • A 200kg bar does not bounce like that you fucking dumbasses.

  • @tempac91 its on a pad mat so it would bounce abit..

  • @GayBoyRunning U LIE!

  • @tempac91 you forgot the R on the end of lie lolz spell well befor you make another remark ok..?

  • @GayBoyRunning The word "lie" is a verb. The word "liar" is a noun. And YOU are as dumb as rocks.

  • @tempac91 Rocks dont have brains so your point beening had & error to it..

  • ive watched this several times, and if that is 200kg then its damned impressive

  • "struggling to believe this is actually 200kg considering the way the plates bounced at the end."

+1 not sure, plus the sound was strange, 200KG sounds really loud in real

  • @Warbeast31 you can tell it's 200kg... look at the plates: blue = 20kg, red = 25kg, green = 10kg.

There's two blue, (40kg), one red (65kg), two green (85kg) and one little 5kg (90kg). Times by two sides 180kg, plus 20kg for the bar = 200kg.

  • @chinwaggler why do you say 1 red, 65kg after u just said red = 25kg lol?

  • @Obsidian1392 it's a little something called addition

  • @Warbeast31 they're bumpers, not steel plates.

  • I weigh 82kgs and can do 200kgs, so I doubt this is a fake

  • Well thoses look like real plates but that seems to be so easy to lift with 80kg bodyweight.. hmm.. don't know if it is a fake.

  • Look at how the barbell bounces at the end! Definitely fake, I doubt those are more than 100kg.

  • i call BS because a guy that size cannot pull 200kg with such ease.

  • struggling to believe this is actually 200kg considering the way the plates bounced at the end. not to mention the fact that the guys veins/eyes weren't popping out of his body.

oh and i think the bar bends more than that with 200kg on it.

and there seems to be too much spare loom on the bar,but maybe my perspective is out.

i hate calling BS on stuff on the internet but it just doesnt seem convincing?

    sorry for the disbelief.

  • Get some chalk, ditch them straps LOL. Good lifting, that weight is my 1RM.

  • @ne1l007 you are retarded if you think he takes steroids

  • say if your 16 and you can deadlift 200 KG. AND WEIGH APPROX 80KG DO YOU THINK YOU TAKE STEROIDS?

    I AM JUST CURIOUS

  • @ne1l007 weight without height is pointless

  • @Obsidian1392

    weight 93 height 5 foot 6.. 16 years deadlift 200, squat 180.

  • @ne1l007 you a beast x

  • Great vid, good technique. You make it look fairly simple. ;)

  • hey mate if thats 200kg!! wtf thats amazing..you make it look so simple..i can only do one rep of that and your just doing it like its nothing, and not even touching the ground. good on ya! what do you train for?

  • it's not a dead lift if the weight isn't 'dead' :)

  • STRAPS GAY.

Need to work on your form.

  • its heavy the bar is bouncing but its hard to believe that this shithead dealifts 200kgr so easy.

  • I find it really hard to believe that this is 200kg. The dude is not very big at all and 200 is a pretty heavy load, there is no way he would be able to rep that amount so easily with such shitty form. Also the fact that his elbows are bending at the top of each rep makes me think it is much lighter.

  • more of a SLDL mate, good effort nevertheless!

  • thats not 200kg ur a joke

  • @bobby14lfc The coloured plates add up to 170kg (if they are standard colours, that is) the bar is 20kg and its looks like there is 5kg plate on each end. Makes 200kg.

  • Watching this guy do dead lifts makes me doubt that it's actually 200kg. Usually, but not all the time. Weights for dead lifts, clean and jerk etc arn't the same as normals gym plates and are covered in a different rubber so they can bounce without breaking and are colored differently to differentiate weight. The weights his using are all separate colors meaning they're different weights. His not offloading the weight which would make immense pressure for him which he doesn't have.

  • dont make use of the stretch reflex, do the deadlift from a dead weight every rep

  • nice colour co-ordination with the plates.

  • Excellent form. Well done. Most people put the bar on the ground between each rep.

  • webbyman, nice gym music? lol, are u gay??

  • 4 and a half reps.. hahaha jokes, good strength man

  • SHIT music to train to.

  • Nice choice of gym music.. Although you really need to deload the weight each rep.

  • shut up!! thats my form tutor lol

  • Comment removed

  • You monster!! But they do play shit music in your gym!

  • yeah load it up with all the pussy weights.

  • what a girl

  • pussy
