  • His a good rapper, he needs more airplay over lil wayne and all that cash money faggots

  • wale, kid cudi, wiz khalifa

  • WaLe uP

  • wale talking about hip hop fused with shitty rock music is world music for everybody... yeah everybody but the real hip hop fans who supported you before your faggoty collaborations with shit rock bands.

  • healthy?? lol...dude is crazy for saying that.. hip hop has cancer in the mainstream right now...fuck being healthy if it means having cats like lil b, soulja and all the other garbage out on MTV..respect to lupe, yelawolf, slaughterhouse and all the real hip hop artists still reppin in the mainstream (not many)

  • he's real black hip-hop!

  • I totally disagree with him even though I'm younger than him. Hip Hop is like a person's Race. IT NEVER CHANGES! In Generations they have mixed people. Compare, mixed people with Fused Genres.

  • wat song is this

  • I dont agree!! All of these rappers suck ballz compared to Wu- Tang Eric B Rakim and old Nas

  • If anyone is interested: I'm a sixteen year old emcee from Canada who just made a channel. Hear out my verses and give me feedback, much appreciated. Peace.

  • hip hop is getting better

  • This guys bringing back hip hop. Man screw all these talentless haters

  • I have plenty of friends of different ethnic origin and get along with them as if they are my family members.

I have no concerns that my friends happen to be camel jockeys, rednecks, dune coons, diaper heads, chinks, dykes, morons, wops, gooks, nazis, fags, dotheads, polacks, coolies, slant eyes, idiots, yids, nips, spics, wetbacks, lezbos, niggers, pakis, gypsies, crackers, mullotos, honkys, hymies, mongoloids, queers, dotheads, assholes, and blonds - just to name a few.

  • @cdddraftman

LMAO YOU PUT "BLONDE' with all those list lmao

  • best mc touchin a mic

  • Why hate hes NASTY

  • Comment removed

  • all of yall talking shit, but ya still took ya time to watch this video. stop hating, wale is a beast

  • whats the song during the credits?

  • you wanna know the truth? There's people in offices of Fortune 500 companies who are taking *great* pleasure in enslaving - -everybody- - , white or black.

This guy is a stuffed shirt, he's always saying y'know like So an so an so and so, and then "but I'm original... yo". Yar

  • @bishopdante i agree 100%

  • race relations in hip hop? White music execs have been manipulating black artists since hip hop became mainstream. The idea of racial tension in popular music, which hip hop is now, is only a front. Something like music lends itself to much more liberal ideas. He's not talking about race relations hip hop isn't that important lets not get ahead of ourselves. he's talking about hip hop branching out genre-wise and becoming more inclusive and accepted as a legit form of music.

  • That was a bad example he gave at the start. But he cool he reminds me of a ealier Kanye West

  • so rap has evolved bc black guys date white women? wow. this guy is smoking some heavy shit. the only thing he pointed out was relations with white women. so dumb. look at stats on black men married to white women in US. It is not even half of 1%.lol. it is a thing white girls go through b4 they realize they r about to fuck up their lives. most get out b4 it is too late and some get preg and regret 4 ever.

  • I agree its definitely not common today but you just sounded ignorant. Wale just proved that he has thoughts and ideas but not enough intelligence and maturity to express them in a cohesive manner. That's why he's a 2nd rate rapper among a bunch of other 2nd rate rappers (j.cole, asher roth, charles hamilton, kid cudi). All lacking in lyrical content. They all are just getting play cause its a change from the perceived idea that rappers are all thugs.

  • you're a fucking idiot man. Just because there a "2nd rate rapper" in you're perception doesn't mean fucking shit. There getting play cuz their sick. You just put Wale and Kid Cudi in the same category as Asher Roth, which shows how fucking stupid you are. Stop spreading you're bullshit around the internet. Lacking lyrical content? you just must be to stupid to understand what their saying

  • we do be making tracks we different and we dont care if ya the monkeys on our back

  • he thinks its cool because its common? Its just shows his views on how he views white women over a black women and his poetic ability to not really connect to his intelligence and awarness or lack there of in societies relations.

  • He might be a poetic rapper but he is dumb and unaware when it comes to being aware to the state of hip hop and interracial relations. Hip hop as dumb down interms of concepts lyricism variety and in gender discrimination. Its the same rappers talking about the same shit money hoes and cars with no change in sight. And his views on race relations oh so just because a black man can date a white women and not get called racial slurs and/or end up being lynched because of it

  • what's the name of that song that starts at 2:23?

    thanks!

  • The Bmore Club Slam from Mixtape About Nothing.

  • much appreciated

  • werd.

  • he ripped the Justice beat!

  • Notice how it's a white woman and a black man reference? How typical, if it was the other way around; let's say a black woman and a white man? Would a black man be so non-schaulant about it? Another double standard in favor of the black male.

  • He's speaking from his own point of view, so ofcourse that would be the reference used. It would be redundant for him to backtrack and reverse the races, because it doesn't even matter. That's the point he was making.

You keeping score of double standards "in favor of the black male," like it's a game and fishing for it where you can is just sad.

  • agreed

  • I know this post is old as hell but its not the same at all. Its some bullshit because I caught more flack bein a white guy with a black girl becasue it wasnt seen as "right"

  • ...You are right on this one. Although I celebrate diversity, I think I am disappointed with the "white woman" statement....especially when 70% of black women are SINGLE!! I my perspective I think that we need to preserve black families. No disrespect however, but just stating my point.

    Love to all!

  • I think preserving black families is too farfetched, black american families have, by a margin, the highest rate of "broken homes" 95% of the people reading this cannot think of 5 black marriages off of assistance that last for more than 10 years

  • that's 5 in their circle of friends, of course anyone can name famous people n shit

  • what's the song that's playing about a minutie into the video?

  • D.A.N.C.E - Justice

  • wale let his hair grow?

    dats dope

  • wats the song he performed at 2:30??

  • Ardmore!!!

  • nevermind, read the question wrong, yeah. He just speaking from his perspective as a male.

  • what he was doing in saying that was equating interracial relationship to the fact that Wale will do a show now and have a 90% white crowd. Ya know, Wale was a local DC cat who could just spit and he'd do shows around the area just in front of DC cats, but he's gotten a buzz and he's seen his crowds change. The Roots can relate to that as well, thats what he meant by that analogy.

  • WALE is 100% correct. we need more rappers/poets like him.

  • thats cool how he uses beats from Justice to rhyme over, i like it

  • Hip Hop Has Evolve Into A Bunch Of Crap!! Theres No Life Saving Conscious Messege In The Music Anymore. Rap Is Dead.

  • Wale!!!

that back to the feature mixtape was sooooooo dope

  • this dude is sik i hope he makes it big

  • lol@ "nigga i'm nas, nigga you pras"

it will be interesting to know out of that freshmen 10 or 12 how many of them are friends.

I know wale is friends with cudi and charles hamilton.

  • probably but charles is weird but cudi kool

  • lol how can you say charles is wierd but cudi isnt? that makes no sense lol

  • igot da flow wit no doe hit mii up wit sum sick ass beats

  • sacrificial lamb...i like that....this dude is smart...DMV has lots of talent..

I'm from Rockville and I work for a recording studio that just opened up in Gaithersburg....I got Beats !!!

  • he isn't lying, niggas don't care about shit round the DMV except for go-go

  • yea he rite

  • Which song is he performing around the 3 minute mark

    THANKS

  • The Bmore Slam Club

  • i think Wale is gonna resurrect hip hop from soulja boy and lilwayne that has done nothing but kill d game...

  • lil wayne fuckin blows

  • wale is really the best true hip hop artist ive ever heard

  • Sure enough was at Johns Hopkins University when he only performed for like 25 cats, me and my friends included. Indy mentality. I like dat.

And yes, Im not a fan of the nonsensical raps that aint like the true hip hop in the beginning but theirs space for it in hip hop. When it becomes the majority of hip hop, then theres a problem. Lupe is my fav artist but I can't exactly dance to his stuff in clubs. I can however dance to soulja boys and others party songz.

  • Comment removed

  • that was a freestyle/or whatever over D.A.N.C.E. genres are stupid anyway

  • in this interview he shows no low views. im tired of nigga always talkin about how bad someone is or knockin hiphop. if u dont like it GO LISTEN TO SOMTHIN ELSE U STUPID BITCHES.

  • Co-Sign....rap although i think started falling off around 4-5 years ago...it just really started getting bad around 2-3 years ago.

you should look up Joe Buddens "Who Killed HIpHop Pt1 and 2" good points.

  • this guy does not know how to rock a mic

  • is that the best part of racial segregation being over???you can date white girls?

dayum, wtf is he talking about?

  • hip hop is devolving...wtf is this guy talking about...the quality of non-progressive hip hop has clearly gone by the waside and its terrible..he mentions jay-z, kanye and other collaberating?...i dont get it...until the youth respect and study the true format of how to rock a mic and how to rock a show and bring good vibes to the people...commercial hip hop or rap music will never evolve....im 38 and i was blessed to be right in the middle of the golden years...this aint true hip hop yall peace

  • Hip-hop is getting worse. It was actually good before, its turned into crap.

  • wale is nice dude he is a true hip hop artist i mean im only 19 but i grew up listenin 2 tupac rakim biggie wu tang like all that shit and this dude wale is tha future of hip hop muthafucka is innovative and his rhymes r dope hes gona b droppin some heavy shit in 09

  • hmm lemme think jaiBavet ur some faggy ass guy who thinks soulja boy is the savior of hip hop and blogs about shit like this living in ur moms basement no one cares about the color of your skin oh n racism does exist i dare u to go tell that to anybody theyd laugh in your face

  • dumbass motherfucker.. people havent cared about the color they care about the propriety and class ... you aint a hiphop artist dumbasss u a fakass raper tryin to get rich off slaves

  • racism doesnt exist... anyone who believes in race is a fuckin slave

  • race is still somethin someone white try to walk thru belleglade

  • This Nigga Is A BEAST ASS RAPPER! U want to Hear Something NEW or or hear a Different look on SHit get His Mixtapes!

  • huh? white..black? hiphop? wtf?

  • "you would never see a Black man dating a white girl but now its common" .."my wife is white...its nothing now".... wtf?

Wow that was really random! Clearly, he had that on his mind for a while! Lol

  • Hes just stating that race is becoming irrelevent... And not just in the music industry but in all aspects of life... You also seem to be forgetting that interviews are cut and edited... so this could very welll be just be a bad edit job...

  • makes sense ok

  • what's the song at 2:23

  • Why the hell does every single hip hopper try to look so fk'n hard???

How pathetic. For instance, Kanye???, yeah, a regular bad ass..... Riiiiight.

  • Wale went to my muffuckin highschool! Wooo

  • imortal is sick but he should stay were he is.his blown up on the undergrown and if hip hop stops being a pice of shit and go back to go flows sick songs and rapper that dont suck like soulja boy

  • first time watching a video of Wale and my opinion of him just went waaay up. this dude loves to rap and loves the fact that people just want to listen to him. That alone is a beautiful thing

  • same man dude sounds good live 2

  • Wale's right...Hip-Hop is evolving, but into what??? Hip-Hop/Rap music has become more disposable at of late.

  • hip hop is evolving but its evolving because the artists evolve look at wayne for example he evolved into nothing but garbage i mean i liked him before but look at his style of rapping now ....i mean moaning? that is gay lol murmuring? ....and singing? rock? you seriousz prom queen was a mess...but he is coming to sense cuz he made 3 tracks that are alright, they're called " I Told Yall, Im A Go Ghetta....and some otherz...wayne is ok...

  • WALE'S THA TRUTH

  • nike boots

  • and i duno why but it looks like wale is a little cheesed cuz it looks warm over there Lol

  • i copped all his mixtapes and i dont think i see 1 or 2 good songs...........he spits real shit on on every track, wale go Hard

  • its too bad though that some people will never change i just dont get the world sometimes why hate cause of color? it aint shit anymore just like he said

  • Dude is nice but I can't agree with what he said. I get tired of that "evolve" shit. The music has not evolved. Just an excuse for lazy motherfuckas to sample and say it's theirs. As far as mainstream rap is concerned, it's a bunch of mental slaves doing what their master wants them to do; bastardize the culture, and repudiate every aspect of hip hop so that white kids get an "audio safari" thinking that all of us are walking stereotypes.

  • Exactly man, they listen to the shit on the radio, and think that is what Hip-Hop is as a whole. They have no clue about all the rap that has substance and mean something, not just the bullshit they hear on MTV and such.

  • lol i aint disagreeing but thats a bit racist and i love this dude talking about steriotyping but saying "As far as mainstream rap is concerned, it's a bunch of mental slaves doing what their master wants them to do" you contradict yourself it cracks me up you 2 are trippin cunts

  • where was that said.

  • wtf are you talking about. Please elaborate

  • man it was a comment some dick posted on here that obviously didnt know what the fuck he was talkin about

  • I agree about your comment on mainstream "Hip Hop". But as far as producers sampling records, thats not being lazy. The essence of Hip Hop was based on using records. Yeah there is some wack sample based shit, but there is good stuff too.

  • sampled beats sound pretty fuckin dope at times you gotta admit it,

  • No argument here, homie...but let's call it was it is cause it's not "Hip Hop". It lost all ties indigenous to the culture when they decided to let corporate america dictate the culture and what it "supposed" to be (a minstrel show for the sake of 'gettin money'). As far as the sampling part, it played a pivotal role and I'm not stripping that away. All I'm saying is don't let sampling define you and be versatile. Everyone wants to be a guitar hero, but no one wants to learn simple chords.

  • i agree with u hip hop now and days has no creativity now its all about the money lok at souja boy and new boys are prime examples one hit wonders i stopped listening to the radio because of them

  • and the lonely island

  • That is the nature of music. Hip hop could not have progressed forward if it were still being marketed to angry men living in the ghetto. As grand master flash once said nowadays hip hop has no colour there are Japanese rap artist and rap music is a big thing over there.

  • lol hip hop wasn't a group of angry black dudes in the ghetto. The message and fuck the police aren't the only songs out back then. Hip Hop has only evolved in its involvement with other music genres. The talent and standards have devolved. From skills to image. Lyrics watered down and the will to rap about what u want changed to what is currently popular. U can't rap about just n e thing, u have to rap about whats typical.

  • That is true. However rappers rap about what will sell money. Look at immortal technique that guy is a real lyricist, and he raps about real matters. But he has not blown. I call it junk pop. People like solider boy and Britney spears can make a million in a month with the bullshit they come out with. Because it is what people want to hear. People want to have a good time they dont want to be preached to. And that is the golden rule is you want to be successful in music.

  • more times I ain't just talkin about all that preachy shit eh. People get that way twist, there are a million ways to make music. The problem is everyone is focused on the one way. See how everybody started auto tuning..shit like that! Do ur own shit, music artist don't realize they control shit not US not the industry. If everyone stayed true to themselves and stay original then things would be A OK. Hip hop delight wasn't angry track or preachy it was a good time with some real foundation.

  • Or more recent after that you see Nas if I ruled the world Wu Tang killer bees. Two different shit but lyrics and realness is being shot out and still selling. You look at Jump around House of Pain...lyrics are fire and people are having a good time and its foundated. Then recent than that, early Kanye...man rapped about Jesus and it was bumpin in the club!! Look at f'ing OutKast ALWAYS DIFFERENT!! THEM DUDES WENT DIAMOND. Fuckin Eminem ate food with his shit...do you not them,

  • you know what funy I just saw a video with Jadakiss and said the samething I said thats fucked up. DO YOU DON'T DO SOMEBODY ELSE.

  • you can add lupe.. his album the cool had one of the greatest most effectively powerful themes i have ever heard in an album.,.... and he sold...

its just a matter of you being able to rap..

  • i don't have to mention him dude...that dude OWNS!

  • =]

got hip hop in his pocket..

  • i think the use of autotune should decrease now well now that jay-z put out his track caled: D.O.A. (Death of Autotune) go on my channel i have the song

  • yo I heard this song 3 hours after u sent this and before i read this, Ii wasn't takin it in I just felt the vibe. But now I hear the lyrics all I can say is amen. We'll see what happens, more times he attacked skinny jeans but that gay shit still alive.

  • is lupe fiasco an exception?

  • I honestly can not comment much on lupe, I have not really followed his music. But from what I have heard he is doing the same thing with pharrel, that is mixing traditional hip hop with a mixture of alternative rock. The whole skateboard educated brother thing he is going with is a persona for him to market his music.

  • He's only had one song about skateboarding.

  • listen to little weapon by lupe fiasco i'll be surprised if you understand it...if you dont then quit listening to rap cuz it seems like you only hear the beat...

  • thats wats up

  • There is some truth to what you say, but the state of hiphop is "evolving". When we still have rappers like Talib Kweli out there, there's still hope for hiphop. Your mainstream opinion is correct, it's a pack of sheep following the ring leader, but we can't encompass this image to hiphop as a whole cause the mainstream bizz is a small part to hiphop that is not affecting quality material still being produced by underground artists.

  • wale is whats good. PG county.

  • cool, gonna keep an eye out for this fella

  • yea this dude is nice

Nike Boots and W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E. tw best songs in my opinion
