Cadets exhibit a high form of leadership, courtesy & discipline.. while in the academy! After grad some drop "courtesy" having convinced themselves that they are the finest species, their egos are more polished than their combat boots. At least, they keep the "leadership" part. Weren't these people responsible for leading multiple Coups against the government? They should not only be trained in combat, humility should be inculcated in their program and that they are there to serve the people.
