@zero45Gabriel One reason I consider Sonic 2 one of the greatest Sonic games to have ever been created. That final fight series is tough, but managable. I think Sonic 2 is the best of the bunch, with Sonic 1 and 3 & Knuckles a close second and third (1's 2nd, 3 & Knuckles's 3rd).

When I heard this the first time, I went "OH CRAP! I'm dead!" then died 6 times before beating him, not counting the 15 or so deaths against Metal Sonic.

I would always play it at my daycare center and I finally got to the Death Egg with only a few lives. After losing a couple to Metal Sonic I moved onto Robotnik... I just barley managed to defeat him and it would be my greatest feat until Captain K. Rool in DKC2. Being 10 was awesome.

I was curious so I looked it up, and a robotic sonic was only ever officially called Silver Sonic in the manual for one of the Game Gear games. There is no mention of him in the English Sonic 2 manual, but there is in the Japanese one where he is referred to as Mecha Sonic, the official name of a Sonic robot from yet a different Sonic game.

This was the first incarnation of the robot Sonic, and as such has several different monikers. All preference.

Anyway, its kind of impossible to compare bowser and robotnik, since both of them are vastly different characters, however Im supprised that no one has mentioned how Robotnik shares certain physical characteristics with a certain other character. I always wondered if that was deliberate.
