Ahhh, I finally got around to watching this (in my college's student center too--bad idea) and wow. I found myself laughing hard, sobbing quietly, and whooping at Kenji to put in the codes faster. I loved how it played off real world correlations as well as family values.

It was wonderful and even my family (who aren't to fond of anime) looooved this movie

It was more than just a fun movie it also showed family values. All I could say it it was one of the most beautiful movie in the world, heck it even beat Mononoke Hime! (mononoke hime was my favorite movie my whole life so that's amazing that something topped it)

I just watched this movie last night. I really loved this movie,it was the best I've watched in quite awhile. And the concept of the whole world being linked to one via a single network is a inevitable future for us. As is a virus or hack program turning it inside out.

I just picked this movie up at Best Buy, along with a copy of season 1 of Yu Yu Hakusho. I saw it sitting there and it was $19.99 and I heard it was good... so... yeah. I just finished watching it and it was actually quite good. I enjoyed it. It was a fun movie to watch. Now to watch it again with my grandparents, because I'm sure they'd like it, too. I mean... they watch FMA: Brotherhood with me, so why not this? lol, great movie. Totally recommended.

Not quite as good as TGWLTT, but it proved that film was no fluke and that this director is one to watch. There is genuine heart and storytelling skill in these two films and they don't rely on spectacle and in your face action to be worthwhile.

I thought Shinkai Makoto was dubbed the "next Hayao Miyazaki." Either way both of those directors truly rock...created the most enjoyable anime I've ever seen in my life.

In fact...the most enjoyable movies I've ever seen in my life...I mean...they create such "summer-feel" movies after all.

Just saw this film tonight at the IFC Center in New York City's West Village. Beautiful song, and beautiful film. It validates my affirmation that anime is truly the best medium to really explore humanity, both on a macro and micro scale. I feel enriched having witnessed this film. LOVED IT!
