the skin comes off when being hit like that cuz it saves on having mulitple giblet models. they would need to make a new giblet model for all the skin colors in the game (black, white and so on) and I belive they also use they for the mutiants too they just make them a bit bigger. if they leave the skin on they would need at least 10 diffrent skin shades for the humans and at least two for the mutiants. its saves on disk space and render time.

btw I higly advise you to get a companion FAST if you want to do the Black Mountain quest and get the All-American. Try Veronica (188 Trading Outpost) she kicks ass with unarmed wepons, try get her the Displacer Glove. Or Boone (Novac) but you probably can't due to your reputation with NCR...

This game is fun and all, but I am at the part where I have to go meet Benny where Caesars Legion is, and ( BTW it is the second time I have done this quest so I know what happens) I have the mark of Caesar so I am supposed to be immune to gunfire from them. But every time I try to take the raft down the river they kill me! Any suggestions??
