She may not have the best voice, but at least when she sings you know she means it. At 14 I discovered Madonna when the song Frozen came out. Then the Ray of Light CD which made me a fan for life. It was a joy to discover her older material. She 100% deserves to be inducted into the Hall.

I don't agree, I think she took sex beyond what's been accepted for a female to the point it marginalized her career, especially around 1992-1993 with her Sex book. Madonna's transgressive sexual persona went far beyond the normal to the point where it was a genuine expression of a sexual whoredom that was all her own, she wasn't merely making herself out to be a sex object to sell a record.
