It's easy to follow for the most part, but it keeps lifting out of view, which makes it extremely difficult for me because I don't know how to do half of the things you're talking about, and just as you're explaining and simultaneously doing, you pull up just the slightest bit out of view, and then the action's done when it's in view and I have no idea what happened.
@xscreamHAPPY I recommend that you become familiar with the beginner crochet stitches and come back to this tutorial at a later time. Then it will make much more sense
Your video is great. I am wondering is it possible to make a cable in the round(in the circle laying flat). I saw it in some celtic crochet and not sure how they did it.
Hi! I want to thank you for all the help you give us. I enjoy your videos the best! My mother taught us how to crochet when we were little girls. I just recently picked it up again. I am learning a lot from you because most of the work I do is trial and error since I do not know how to read the books. For example, I made a hat for my baby recently and I had to do & un-do it 4 times before I got it right. So, I have 2 requests for you:
Can you please PLEASE make a tutorial vid for a cable hat? I love your videos and the way you teach!! I've attempted to do it from an existing pattern but I just dont understand how, I think you could really teach it!
Hi, I really like your videos. I can find a the stitches I desire to learn. This is one of the stitches I asked you about. I will try this one next. I am working on the basket weave. I am making a blanket for my son.
I was wondering if this could be turned into a hat... How would you crochet a hat with vertical cables or just vertical ribbing? Will you be putting any type of tutorial up in that? I love your videos!!
OH yay!! I was just searching for a cable patterned beanie and i found this ..i would love to see a tutorial for a beanie :)...this stitch would look great as a scarf!
For some reason I seem to come across lots of patterns that call for FPDC's lately, and I had trouble following the written instruction. So thank you so much for showing me!
I have posted a slow motion version of the center cross over X part. It will be availabe as a video response and I will post the link to the right of the video in the video details. The slow motion covers the section in part one that leaves the screen.
thanks for the videos. by your clear verbal instructions, i understand how the criss crossing is done. But it's kind of hard to see it done because at some point, while you were doing the first criss cross FPdc, the work inadvertenly went out of camera range. but no big deal. just wanted to let you know. Thanks again for the great videos.
I was aware that happened so that I why I did a slow motion of the cross over. You will see it above as a video response. It is applicable for the part that left the screen. You will see it in part two, only it is regular speed.

@azspringtime I am not sure if my requests came thru or not. So, just in case. Here they are again.
1-Will you please make one of how to read a book of projects?
2-Will you please make one of how to make a baby/child poncho?
