@djdan151 Um not true. By no means do I want to take away from this man's playing cause this cover is really good. His voice is perfect for it. But not even he is playing it right. the capo goes on the 7th the way Elliott does it, He capos the 5th like most people do. The closest I've ever seen anyone get is 94FAB10's cover

@jfxnyp yeah he played in D alot. some of his tunings just blow my mind the man was genius, he didn't like to stick to the normal standard E ha. 2 45 am took me awhile to find that tuning. Regardless of how anyone else does it no one will make it sound just like he did. I've spent months and months and months trying to figure this song out perfectly. I don't think its possible

ya its coming around pretty good tho. I was very discouraged at first. Im so used to beatles picking patterns like Julia and Dear Prudence. Same with Dylan stuff. This song is unique that way. ...Really? now its the other way around, Im getting the hang of the weird strum he does, I rarely play chords without a pick so doing that with bass notes is certainly different but ..a good different.
