Israel is more of a democracy than any of it's neighbors. Israel has defined borders with Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. It does not have defined borders with neighbors who will not sit down at the table in good faith and negotiate. Arab citizens have more rights than Jewish citizens of any arab nation. As a matter of fact Israeli Arabs have THE SAME RIGHTS as any other Israeli.

You probably believe that any settlement is an illegal settlement so talking about that is a waste of time. The securety barrier has been moved many times when a PA landowner has been able to prove that his land has been taken. The problem is that non-israeli arabs don't have the same rights as Israelis, and since you can get the nationality automatically through religion it isn't that easy for the palestinians.

The laws of Israel do not allow discrimination. That is not to say there is not descrimination on the personal level. But that is no different than what goes on in any nation. In Germany and France there is bias against Turks, in Mexico it is against indians in the US it is against blacks and hispanics. The important to understand it is not institutional. Arabs actually do have the same rights as Jews in Israel. The same cannot be said about Jews living in Arab lands.
