  • What an amazing location for railfanning. Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • @Crosshead1 Thanks a lot!

  • Thanks for the posting this video. Remembers me a lot of souvenirs. I was there 16 and 14 years ago. Summit was only double-track and it wasn't fenced. I even been and took a picture of the Chard Walker's vantage point.

  • @tvnshack Ah the good old days. Spent many days there myself as a kid. Loved watching the Santa Fe's cut the helpers off the end of the train and send them back to San Bernardino. Chard Walker's Cajon is a great book if you haven't read it.

  • @Cornelu Of course I've read it ... many times :-)

  • Not sure if you realized it or not, but you caught UP 7222 and BNSF 7222 at nearly the same place at nearly the same time. How often does that happen?

  • @espeescotty LOL wow! Thanks so much for pointing that out. I will update the video info accordingly.

  • This is the reason cajon pass is one of the best places to railfan! Great catches cornelu!

  • @andross51 Thanks! It is the best.

  • great stuff! cheers!

  • @apples2095 Thanks!

  • That was exceptional. sounds like a very noisy place with that many trains. I like it. Excellent video.

  • @iusetano Thanks Hans.

  • I believe the second EB Z Train with BNSF 7222 is on M1. The coil train would be crossing over from M3 to M2.

  • @signalman71 Thanks signalman. Fixed.
