I think they should air these old adult swim anime shows for the younger generation rather than keep them off, after all there are so many people these days who haven't seen these shows and they're much more well written then the crap they have on adult swim now

yu yu hakusho was better on adult swim, but toonami had better promos. either way, both cartoon network and adults swim suck ass now days (except for a few select shows)

The first one that started it all. Aside from DBZ, if I didn't watch this I would never discovered Cowboy Bebop. Without Bebop, I wouldn't have gone watch the whole thing. Then there would be no InuYasha for me. Neither Geass, Death Note, nor Blood+. The one that started it all.

i remember the days when cartoon network was the shit with anime! toonami and adult swim had the best line ups ever. the only difference now: Toonami is gone, but adult swim stil has a chance to revive its self!

@yuukicross091 ionno. i used to watch it on adult swim, but it did reruns up to the saint beast season then disappeared. Magically it appears on toonami and pushes to the togoro and sensui arcs. then after words it ended up on cartoon network in the mornings at like 530 with cursing and stuff (adult swim version?) and finished the season there... idk wth they were thinking.. but it all worked out..maybe the toonami thing was for more publicity, it was the age of dbz u know (when things owned)>.>

when these were on toonami these were uncut but they came on 11:00 11:30 and 12:00 like dude below me said it became anime hour on what we now know as adult swim but back then adult swim had alot more anime now its mostly comedies

no they weren't edited at all, the original Yu-Yu Hakusho on Adult Swim was uncut. Like DBZ uncut and Outlaw star on midnight run. These 3 shows started the original line into what Adult Swim became.

bleach and death note r good. theyre all sj series. code geass is meh though... give bleach and death note a chance. Hell bleach has just as much blood as yu yu hakusho most of the time. same for cursing. They just happen to change some of the dialogue for dubs.

memories that I remember- Pure amazement, how incredibly adult or very.. I don't know.. this was, amazement also at the great animation, sounds, and just the innocence of me being such a smaller kid watching this knowing that this was such a complex and true show (in a wat), much truer than people these days are, I mean people that are very old too.

The first time I watched AS was when my buddy and I were like 10, and he told me about Yu Yu Hakusho, and I actually thought it would be stupid, but I'm glad I spent the night at his place, we watched Yu Yu Hakusho, Outlaw Star, and all the old good animes they had on AS. I would stay up all night if they went back to this!!!!!!
