This is perhap one of the most strange but incredible film ever made. Although there is alot a question as to why he spent nearly a good part of his life trying to give a message to the world. It reminds me of the bad dreams I use to have when I was kid, never understood, but here he brings all those nightmares to the screen, which I find it to be a very incredible thing to do.

I have watched this doccumentary over and over with early adults that I teach. They do not get it at first, but after watching the entire film they quickly understand. This runs perfectly with three topics in the carriculum. Mental health, Drugs, and Homophobia. Thank you GREATLY to Steve Caouette. I highly reccomend this to everyone.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the Chris Crocker-Tarnation resemblance. I don't thin Chris Crocker "owes" anything to Tarnation though. I see it as more of an homage... Both people are completely narcissistic drama queens who have used film to promote themselves by exploiting their own suffering and the suffering of others in order to further their acting careers.

Well, they gave Chris Crocker his own reality show. He could have Jon on as a guest & thank him for the inspiration. BTW, I totally love & respect Jon & don't think of him as a narcissistic person at all, nay, I find it fascinating that there's someone out there who'd videotaped themselves from age 11 on. It was a work in progress and made for interesting conversation, in the least. Crocker, however, grates my nerves because of that 9/11 video he posted. It was done in very poor taste.
