I know it's not Angus' style to play "shred" guitar but guitarists like Yngwie or Marty Friedman have the ability to play slow blues to hard rock to heavy thrash metal, and in my opinion they are much better. For me it's Angus' attitude and basic style which I think is the accreditation for why AC/DC is so appealing to so many whereas Thrash metal isn't.

@gta4rulzu Mark Knopfler may not blow your mind but he would play this surprisingly easy as the way he plays guitar is much more subtile and complicated.Not to mention his uncomparable flexibility and fingering. You recognise skilled guitarists when they're able to play the chords of other famous musicians and not the other way around. Angus is one of a kind and the duckwalk is his trademark but the composition of their music is not really impressive.Not to say easy for an accomplished guitarist

A style that isnt anything new, and ive seen banjo players that are better than him. the chick from "Heart" Is better. if you wanna talk composition (Whic knopfler as doesnt have; hes a play along to backtracks person) then we'd have to talk about Eric Johnson, who can compose much better.

@gta4rulzu No worries. I acknowledge that typing in the dark is confusing. Yes MK is finger picking and he's definitely one of the best inb his genre. You should watch the long solo of sultans of swing (amongst others) and you'll be blown away. Eric Johnson is a fantastic composer as well. Those men are a real class act in their own league. Though, it's Angus' attitude and basic style which I think is the accreditation for why AC/DC is so appealing to so many whereas Thrash metal isn't.
