  • Wow, I can't believe the bridge is even there! We used to drive to it back in the day, that's the 80's, of course. It should have been closed down then. LOL

  • hahahahaha.......i know who burnt the big hole on the the bridge....XP

  • Great video, but the Forks of Cypress was owned by James Jackson and no relation to Andrew. Although Andrew Jackson and his brother did invest in the founding of Florence.

Really strange seeing the bridge and road, use to drive this, but was closed years aog.

    Thanks again for the video.

  • @ChrisGrissett no because Andrew Jackson made the house, and i know this is a FACT because, my mom ex husband's mother had all the original furniture from the house and she was related to Andrew Jackson.all of his furniture is in her house.

  • AMAZING - we used to drive across this bridge when I was in high school! The road was traveled a lot....looks like it's not used any more.....we also used to play pranks at Halloween.....like hanging 'ghosts' from the beams over head LOL. We had some fun times out there and so many memories!!!!! Katrenia (Kimbrell) Porter

  • we heard th devil worshipers 1 nite on there microphones

  • im related to Andrew and Stowall Jackson

  • the Plantation on the backside of the bridge (known as the "Forks of Cypress" since it burned down in 1966) owned many slaves. there is actually a slave cemetary right down from the Plantation site. The story behind ghost bridge is that the slaves would run for the creek and try to get across the bridge, and the plantation owner would chase them and shoot them. Ive been there, and seen a man walking with a lantern. i WOULD NOT advise you to go. but if you do, DAYLIGHT.freaky people do wierd shit

  • @KaylaConspiracy

    no they don't.

  • The hole in the middle is from a DA making a fire there. Its cool to go at night because thats when all the devil worshipers gather around there. You can here them chanting. If you go down there during the day and look up in the trees you can see animal carcass hanging around and blood from the sacrifices.

  • fire my ass. it was a improvised bomb made of chewing gum remover and a tire.

and rest of that is definitely "NO".

  • Sure.Because you don't sound crazy.Yea.......

  • well thanks. that's nice.

just saying the "devil worshiper" and animal crap isn't true.

not saying some idiots who (think) they're this or that don't go there , but WHAT..IS a devil worshiper? ...anyone who does not follow God. now watch you try and argue like a squirming guilt tripped worm. and we're all guilty. not a "liar" are you ? ;)

but the animal thing is just bogus. sure strays get dealt with around here. but that's just life around here. not rituals. ..banishment of the stray? :)

  • i love ghost bridge

  • i used to live near florence..i lived in sheffeild and i went to ghost bridge and i saw a rock that looked like the devils head

  • @jarenleroy12

You've seen the devil many times, yet never knew you were looking at it. So how do you know what it looks like?

  • @sydonabike

    fuck you bra

  • @jarenleroy12

    ohh..like that's not a bit overused.

  • i live in florence where is this ghost bridge?

  • i went there one night and everyone took off and left me standing there it was pretty scary.

  • maaan tat's an old rickety thing, Im sooo glad it's still there though, it should be preserved. I can't imagine being there at night, Im 35 and I would still piss my pants ,loolol yes Im just a big ole scardy cat LOL but yet I can't get enough of this stuff ....lol

  • I love when people get out there and film stuff like this, because it gives us, who can't go there, a chance to see it,I know I more then likely will never get to in real life, sooo this is awesome, thankyou

  • r there ghosts on it?

  • I love ghost bridge! When I lived in Florence I used to go there every Halloween. It was so scary!

  • Futhermore, I don't know why everyone is so attracted to the bridge. the family cemetery down the road (from where the bridge was approached in the beginning of the vid) is far more interesting. Just don't let Mr. Wallace (town historian) catch ya in there..He'll jump in that big brown truck chase you out of there all the way back to town.

  • Because it's supposed to be haunted, and furthermore, we live in ALABAMA and we don't have that many paranormal places we can boast about, and Ghost Bridge is one of the few we have.

  • The story is all hype.I've practically lived here and I KNOW that the hole in the bridge did'nt get there by any strange forces. ...unless maybe you consider me strange. Ahh...The miracles of several cans of chewing gum remover. Oh yeah....the little ring of rocks underneath (the side of the bridge as first approached in this video) ...also by me.

  • damn florence the whole city is haunted, all the people out there are zombies

  • my boyfriend lives in florence.

    the bridge freaks him out.

im making him take me there one day.

    =]

  • is this in florence alabama? i was here the other night... We didn't hear or see anything really. But it was scary anyway...lol

  • omg i was there at night you here a baby crying

  • need to go back@ nite Mr.GreenWood!!
