Its too bad Disney/Marvel can't follow through. It would have been a classic.

The security guard is Lou Ferrigno, a body builder who played The Hulk in that same nbc show with Bill Bixby.

Okay to set the record straight, The Incredible Hulk was released inbetween Iron Man and Iron Man 2, but in the Marvel Movie Timline, The Incredible Hulk is supposed to take place after Iron Man 2. This is what I understand. Am I right?

What I don't get is in the end of The Incredible Hulk, Tony pretty much says he is gonna be an Avenger, but in Iron Man 2 (which came out 2 years later) he was against it until the end and said he never said he would join.

Incredible Hulk may have came out before Iron Man 2 but storyline wise this is taking place after Iron Man 2 because Tony is already in here, he already is recruiting for the Avengers. As we saw at the end of Iron Man 2 he was iffy on it and wasnt fully in it. Iron Man 2 was obviously some sort of recruiting for Tony and as we saw in this cameo he is already a member.

Okay to set the record straight, The Incredible Hulk was released inbetween Iron Man and Iron Man 2, but in the Marvel Movie Timline, The Incredible Hulk is supposed to take place after Iron Man 2. This is what I understand. Am I right?

What I don't get is in the end of The Incredible Hulk, Tony pretty much says he is gonna be an Avenger, but in Iron Man 2 (which came out 2 years later) he was against it until the end and said he never said he would join.

@TheAmazingBlueLLama the movies release date obviously are different than the actual storyline. Incredible Hulk may have came out before Iron Man 2 but storyline wise this is taking place after Iron Man 2 because Tony is already in here, he already is recruiting for the Avengers. As we saw at the end of Iron Man 2 he was iffy on it and wasnt fully in it. Iron Man 2 was obviously some sort of recruiting for Tony and as we saw in this cameo he is already a member.

not a single person has noticed that there is a character in it called Jack McGee and for those who don't know who the character is here you go. in the 70's incredible hulk jack McGee (played by jack colvin) chassed the hulk from state to state he was a reporter for the national register

:05 — Bill Bixby (the guy slapped) was Bruce/David Banner in the Hulk TV series.
:10 — Stan Lee, the guy who created a lot of the Marvel characters.
:26 — Lou Ferrigno played the Hulk in the TV series.
And yes, it was all from the Incredible Hulk movie.

@oladeji123 I was also confused about how Tony Stark's cameo in The Incredible Hulk fit in with his "lone gunslinger" attitude in Iron Man 2. Then I saw a site that explained everything. At the end of IM2, when Tony reading Black Widow's report on him at a SHIELD facility, we see a news report on TV. It's the same news report as the one in TIH, right after the Hulk fights at Culver University. So IM2 takes place at around the same time as TIH, but ends earlier.

@InfluenceFilms Well, we still don't know when the Hulk took place in the "time line" of these newer Marval movies, so it could have been after the third Iron Man movie (Which the film has been confirmed).

To clear it up, there is going to be a whole AVENGERS movie on the way. With Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. As some of you may have seen in Iron Man 2, at the end past the credits, Agent Coulson finds Thor's hammer in a huge crater in New Mexico. Also, in Iron Man and Iron Man 2, you see a weird looking metal thing with a half star on it. This is Capt. America's shield. Tony Stark is putting a team of "super soldiers" together, and they will be called the Avengers.

This was a clever thing to do. By making a cameo in the bar it could partially refer to his small alcohol problem.
