  • Paul gets his shit ruined around the 15:35 mark. Love it.

  • Tim and his entire team had weeks to prepare and research an organized and practiced attack and Ron Paul single handedly kicked their ass with barely any effort on his part.

  • Ron Paul holds his own and makes sense

  • RP: That was my reaction the morning of the OKC bombing. Remember the 1st "patriot act" under Clinton and all the chatter about library records? Of course you do. You're a guardian of liberty.

  • Once again, COMPLETE ignorance of the income tax. INCOME TAX REVENUE DOES NOT FUND THE GOVERNMENT. IT GOES STRAIGHT TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE. EVEN REAGAN'S ADMINISTRATION ADMITTED THIS.

  • This was 2007 when his views were still new to most people. This one of the interviews that built his base.

  • really, i thought Tim Russert was a better journalist...

  • love the last line

  • That's how you make it in corporate-owned media. Lay out land mines to trip up the interviewee, take sound bites out of context, talk over your guest and don't allow them to finish their thoughts, etc. etc. etc. The Alinskyite luciferian on MSNBC's "Slimeball" and the leprechaun spinner-bully over at Fox are two of the worst.

Solution: Do not watch their programs so the surveilling networks/cable companies will get less advertising revenues in prime time...

    RIP Tim Russert

  • Can't touch Dr.Paul,sorry little tim.

  • RP "the arabs get 3x $aid than israel gets" is this true?

  • I think Paul did very well. There were some shacky moments, but overall this is the most substantive interview he's been in.

  • "Who in Israel is saying "go bomb Iran for us'"?

    (sigh)

  • Ron Paul actually has a strong base of support from the people. It's individuals in government beauracracies, govt. contractors and certain corporate interests that influence media coverage that want to stifle exposure of Ron Paul. I think we should be skeptical as to whether it's actually the "people" that get to choose who becomes President.

  • Good thing Tim died before he lived to see how stupid he sounded in this interview.

  • @deke76

That's a pretty heartless thing to say.

  • @ALeeBatey If Tim was offended he can tell me himself. I don't want to post any spoilers here, but here goes. Everybody dies. Physical life is a temporary situation for exactly 100% of the population. Some of the population choose to spend their time in the public eye. Those people are completely and totally opening themselves up to criticism for their actions while still drawing breath. Tim understood that - I guarantee. Dead or not, he sounded stupid in this interview.

  • The only that isn't a puppet in Washington has no chance, sorry to be blunt, I still advocate him fully.

  • President Ron Paul will accept a salary of $39,000, the median American wage...powerfully symbolic.

  • Why didn't Russert grill Romney that hard? What a joke

  • Never knew Tim Russert was a puppet.

  • Tim Russert was such a cock sucker

  • ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUL 2 0 1 2

  • I love the ending to that video about the quote. Ron Paul is always on the money!

  • LMFAO IT WAS TEH WALL STREET JOURNAL ITS REAL LMFAOO..

  • This is the interview you must sent every person that's not familiar with Ron Paul, this sells Ron Paul more than anything you can possibly say...just send this & he sells himself!

  • @hanyangwe

    Was my thought as well.

  • This was a good interview. Tim Russert came at him I thought from a pretty fair way, they were hard questions, but Paul responded well.

  • God bless the dead, but Russert was an ass on the earmark debate. The people of his state can't take back their own tax dollars when pork's is going to be appropriated regardless of his vote. No room for nuance anymore huh?

  • very tough questions. Awesome answers! Ron Paul 2012!

  • I for one am a Ron Paul supporter, I enjoy a man like Tim Russert because he's an honest and straight forwar, hard hitting journalist. If you support a candidate you need to see him under the gun. For those that don't validate this type of interview, you don't understand the purpose and RESPONSIBILITY of the press. HIS SKILL IS PART OF WHY HE WAS MURDERED!

  • @DontQuoteMeBut By Hillary???

  • @pattymcpatterstud1 Really, a coincidence that he died all the sudden.

  • @DontQuoteMeBut I'm with you. I had the same thoughts as well...

  • @DontQuoteMeBut Yeah it's called a HEART ATTACK!!!!

  • @Marakulous43 You keep on trusting what you hear.

  • @DontQuoteMeBut Oh god and I thought the 9//1 truthers were idiots but you just go waaay over the top!!!!

  • @Marakulous43 If you think wanting the truth makes you an idiot well you have mastered the word. Answer this you smart fuck, why did building 7 fall? Let's go answer that one first. They get tougher so I suggest you just go back to watching cops and drink your beer and shut the fuck up.

  • @DontQuoteMeBut don't take the gloves off :) hes down kick him!

  • LMAO:

"You say your a constitutionalist but you want to amend the constitution."

    "That's constitutional, what's your point?"

This whole interview was a sham. Nothing but biased attacks. it literally looked like he had attack after attack lined up and all he was trying to do was make ron paul stumble.

If i was there i would've just walked out after 10 minutes its amazing he stayed that long and made Tim Russert look more like a babbling idiot.

  • Shame on all these interviewers who try so hard to "trip-up" their guests. You are not interested in your guests view... you interupt them before they finish...you sound more interested in finding fault...in semantical criticism. Why don't you just let your guests present their views and let we, the listeners decide. You act like a judge and jury all in one....shameful journalism.

  • Regarding the earmarks; Ron Paul works for the people. When they request that he puts that into the bill as an earmark, he does what they wish. He is given the choice to vote on the merits of the bill and he does not believe that an earmark is valid.

  • Tim did not do a very fair interview on understanding what Ron Paul is about. I was surprised by this interview.

  • @burlyrdc ...but now he's dead...

  • Im not sure I understand Ron Paul from 15-18 When he says that he votes against the legislation yet puts earmarks for his own district within it?

  • @jwmarco21 What he's saying is he doesn't support dedicating x% of taxes to go on public expenditures, however, his constituents would benefit from existing earmarks, and therefore for the benefit of his district he would take the money from them since they exist anyway, but he never votes FOR public expenditures. Since the earmarks exist, his constituents already payed for them via high taxes, so like tax credits, he's not against them redeeming it in the form of earmarks.

  • @IzaFaqat ok ty for the clarity my roommate and I were debating over this.....RON PAUL 2012!!

  • Ron Paul really did a great job defending his positions there under some intense questioning.

  • Cut the income tax, let the people keep their money, and it will automatically go back into the economy, SIMPLE.

  • Tim Russert is the only one who actually legitimately debates Ron Paul. I mean, I support Ron Paul, and Tim definitely takes him to task here, no doubt. But at least he's not dismissing him as a cook, but rather debating him on issues of substance. I miss Tim Russert.

  • They need to stop quoting him from 20 years ago, how many times has every other candidate flip flopped in 20 years? Tim is grasping at straws in every single attempt he makes to trip Ron up.

  • I miss Tim Russert. Of course the one vaguely honest person in mainstream media has to die.

  • geez. tim is hard. but good answers from Dr. Paul. I like this. :)

  • Ron paul own that poor poor man
