yamaha are way better, honda's have a rubber drive BELT, when it beaks 200.00-400.00 t repair.Yamaha is gear driven camshaft,no rubber belt,Peace of mind. also emission compliance period label on Honda is 250 hrs on YAMAHA is 500 hrs. yamaha has a fuel gauge, honda nope.take the cap off and guess..both really quite.also kit to connect both generator, honda's kit is a 30 twist amp plug need a adapter from that kit to 30 amp RV plug. YAMAHA cable kit is ready with 30amp RV plug. YAMAHA RULES
Not unless those items have power cords on them... but yes that's only like 600 watts or so, probably not even that. Depends on how fast you run those fans. ;)
When you've got a load on it then it is a bit louder but in general I would characterize it as a pretty quiet generator. You could talk to someone standing next to it.

I am looking to get one of these for a project I am working on that uses a computer and a bunch of sensitive electronics. I tested one of these with and without a 500W load and watched the wave-form on an oscilloscope, it was a perfect sine wave. I tested this because on the website they say it produces electricity that is just as good or better than the service coming into your home. This statement is true and it does in fact produce a smoother current than my homes outlet electricity.
Probably, you might trip the breaker button on it though, don't know for sure it all depends on that circular saw, meaning is it a newer Milwaukee, or a 20 year old Skill saw... I'd bet that Skill saw trips it but the same size Milwaukee doesn't. 2000 watts @120v is 16 amps so you're probably ok.
sorry if this is a noob question, but if I have a 110 volt 1800 w steam pressure washer would this generator be sufficient to power it without undue wear on the generator or washer?
I do most of my work in the early morning in residential areas so the quietness of this generator would be great for me
whats the RPM of this, man? I heard anything above 2000 RPM is too fast and affects the lifespan. Im planning to live in the jungle for years with no power grid
@tagaEskinita if u are going to live in the jungle u need to go diesel a slow speed listeroid at 650 rpm will do just fine just serch listeroid in the search bar
I think his carburetor is dirty or there is a fuel restriction somewhere between the tank and the carburetor. My new EU2000i was hunting all the time with the eco mode on, problem was a stuck governor, playing with it using a screwdriver while the gen was running solved the problem. Oh and I cleaned the carburetor 5 times before trying this...
We clean our carbs in a ultrasonic bath, we do about 10 carbs a week.
I have quite a few spares for the EU200i, in the UK we call it the EU20i, I bought in an American spec EU2000i and converted it to UK spec from the parts of an old one that had thrown the con rod.
I have an inverter pack, stator, complete control panel and full case.
i love these little thing.. currently i have 2 eu2000's with the parallel linkage kits and a eu4000 (not many people have heard of them). the all three of them are extremely quiet. the 4000 or 2000 combo has enough power to run a 30 something foot camper trailer. the two smaller models start in one or two pulls always.
Go to Honda website, they have a chart that tells you how many running watts and how many starting watts. Fridge ~ 700-800 running, but 2500-3000 starting. Get the 3000 and you'll be fine.
Always in hand when the converncional power grid is out.
Have u tried in those situations ??

i want to run a ceiling fan, 2 energy saver lights, and perhaps a computer. Is this generator sufficient for the job? thanks

Probably - I don't know how long, you'd have to look it up in the specs.

This will not bog down with a load like a standard generator.
Why is the choke still half on or half off?

Would you test it to show if it can deliver 2000 watts without bogging down? Use a hairdryer and a toaster together. Thanks

Yeah, plug something in so it gets off idle.

thought they were supposed to be 'ultra quiet'. that seemed on the loud side to me

That's because the camera was 1 foot away from the thing - this thing is amazingly quiet.

Turn the volume down on the PC....quite quiet then

Yes, it will it's an inverter generator so safe, clean power comes out for even the most sensitive electronics.
