Final County Stadium 7th Inning Stretch

The summer of 85', my family had just moved to Wauwatosa and I was 19. $5 bleacher seats that summer, a cold soda and nachos, was one of the best summers ever. I miss County Stadium and all the memories it gave Milwaukee.

The Packers played in that stadium in the early eighties. Why was that??

Actually, the Packers played games in Milwaukee County Stadium for more then 40+ years. 126 regular season games and 40+ pre season games at Milwaukee County Stadium from 1953 - 1994. They moved to an all Green Bay schedule in 1995 (?). To this day 2 games a year are considered "Milwaukee Games" for Milwaukee season ticket holders.

Never shoulda built Miller Park.

County had history and they shoulda kept it.  Would cost them half of what it did to renovate County.
