i'm so glad rca dropped katharine and was able to sign with another recording contract. Cuz rca is a lousy record label. Katharine deserve better and i hope her 2nd album will do better. Now i just hope Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson leave that label too cuz they are best female singers of this generation

I just hope Verve doesn't drop Katharine if her next album doesn't do as well as they want. especially because like I've said before, I don't know many people who buy CDs anymore and they should judge it on her downloads and by how much they promote her and their actions and if they put how more than just one single for her.

Verve isn't in the habit of dropping artists because of low sales. Their artists tend to not sell that much, yet they have stayed on the Verve roster for years. No worries there imo.

Not necessarily. An acoustic performance bares the vocals. It can easily expose deficient singers. Though you are right in that it can make a good singer sound even better.

When I first got her album, this was the only song I didn't care for. After repeated listenings, it's one of my favorites. And this acoustic version is tremendous. Her album is one of the underrated albums of 2007. This is one very talented young lady.
