The games don't really take advantage of the more powerful phones yet. All of gamelofts graphically impressive games can run on an iphone 4, you don't even need 4s. I own a LG optimus 3d and am kinda frustrated that the new games don't take advantage of the more powerful phones, but I guess they will sooner or later. Tegra 3 would be way overkill right now but at least it would last into the future.

The biggest factor for me is that the LG Optimus 2x is coming soon to Straight Talk for $45/mo unlimited everything ($50/mo on Net10) with no contract vs. the $80/mo I'd pay on Verizon for 450 mins, limited data (5GB) and text....and a contract.

Beyond that: 4G...or faux g, but still probably good for 3-5 mbps, lol, Flash, Dual core processor, larger screen and more. Just the fact it's even comparable and available on a prepaid basis closes the deal for me. Thanks for the video.

@johnfrjohn its not an unfair battle because when lg optimus 2x came out iphone 4 was the only available phone. even you battle it with iphone 4s optimus 2x will win when it comes to specs because it has tegra 2 gpu and iphone 4s has 800mhz dual core only. iphone may win when it comes to camera etc. but the gingerbread and the incoming ice cream sandwich is much better that ios. and android has flash

The camera is perfect, antivirus isn't needed and iphone is much better and accurate in using! i still find the LG Optimus 2X display's touch response much less smoother then on the iPhone as far as the camera goes the pictures are grainy on the LG despite the higher pixel amount. I own both devices and in MY opinion a jailbroken iPhone 4 tops the LG Optimus 2X.

@sishirseldrup9 WAAAAY. They are both good devices but in my opinion I find the iPhone's UI a lot better. The Optimus is a more recent device and yet the iPhone looks and feels more high tech. During my use of the Optimus i found that the device over heats sometimes when portable hotspot is enabled. There is also little difference between the speed of 3G and 4G. Jailbroken iPhones don't require you to be on wi-fi to use video chat too.

Lg Optimus 2x has had some issues fixed and supposedly runs smooth now with no glitches. Getting mine delivered today and the wife has iPhone 4 so I can compare. To the people slagging off LG about their poor phones etc and getting over excited about iPhone don't forget that apple must have some confidence in LG as they use LG displays to put in the iPhone 4. LG rock!!

More ram, better prosessor, not being locked completely to apple, freedom of choosing your own version of android (I'm happily running cyanogenmod 7) I've done quite a lot of research a montah ago when i decided to buy a new phone. The 2x doesn't just give you the best hardware/price ratio over iPhone 4, it gives you the overall best.
