  • Men that boat is Flying. I have a 1997 U-19 with a 5.7 stock and the best speed i have seen is 66 on gps runing in fumes and only one onboard. I could use some tips overhere LOL.

  • I put aluminum exhaust on there. That was a big weight savings.

Got it from CP Performance. If you have the Chevy motor, it will be a lot easier to find aluminum exhaust.

The Mercury Fury or Tempest Plus are good props. They hold the bow high and make the chinewalk a little easier to deal with.

  • What RPM are you doing with that prop. I am in the process of installing stainless marine headers getting it ready for the summer.

  • Right at 5000 really trimmed up.

  • I'm sure the 19 could crack 70 and probably handle better then the 17.

But I have only ran the 17.

This one has aluminum exhaust which took quite a bit of weight off the boat.

    25 pitch Mercury Fury prop.

It has touched 69 mph (GPS) on its best day.

Currently changing the intake trying to crack 70

  • Very cool. Have you done anything with a U19 with a 275? Curious if they can hit the 70 mark.
