I am a fan of any athletic dog, so it's obvious that the pitbull is one of my favorites. Anyone who forces these dogs to fight (any dog) is mentally sick; somethings has to be wrong with you mentally and emotionally in order for you to force something that you raised and has all the emotions you have and force it to fight for it's life. I am a fan of any athletic dog, so it's obvious that the pitbull is one of my favorites. Anyone who forces these dogs to fight (any dog) is mentally sick; somethings has to be wrong with you mentally and emotionally in order for you to force something that you raised and has all the emotions you have and force it to fight for it's life. i understand what this guy is saying about the commitment & sacrifice the dog & trainers make but even what we call sport (ie boxing football) doesnt result in death. Y do these dogs have to die. Weight pulling and theother nonfatal competition is sport. By watching living creatures die on a consistent basis you are desensitizing the way you think, behave and live. There are large psychological ramifications that are involved in this sport. My heart goes out to the dogs & trainers.

The facts r in countries like Japan, the Balkans, China where pro dog fighting is legal, and the true breeding standards are still followed, they don't have the problems that exists in the USA. The way it used to be in the USA until it went underground. Also, you can socialize a real gamebred pit bull all you want, but genetically he will still more than likely "turn on" and want to fight other dogs, whether he's a chain or house dog. Debating the cruelty of bloodsports is another subject.

I worked in humane law for over two years....and if theres one thing I hate...its a dog fighter. I wish that the law didnt make it so f*cking hard to prosecute these assholes. I cant tell you how many times a judge will completely dismiss a felony dog fighting charge for a lesser drug charge and let the guy walk. It makes me sick.

If someone took the time and hard effort to kidnap his mom, break her down/rape her, pretty her up, and put her to work in the streets Im sure even he wouldnt consider that justifiable.

Dog fighting is not a sport.Dog fighting is animal abuse.Dog fighters are abusing the animals for money and because of that,many innocent dogs are being put down for this erroneous perception of they being aggressive and unsafe around people.When is the irresponsible owners who have turned them into aggressive dogs.

I would like to seriously inflicted unspeakable pain to ANYONE who fights there dogs....if you truly loved your dog you would never put them through such a horrible situation...how would you like it if your parents took you as a child and made you fight other kids to the death and then killed you if you lost....doesn't seem very humane to me.
