  • I bought the 2011 iMac and it came installed with stickies.

  • Does this stay on the desktop when you save it? Thanks.

  • just seen this vid am straight away am putting sticky to good use, great idea

  • "as you can see" ....... we cant see sh** coz the video is 360p... in 2011

  • Nice Review man. You can also check out the new blog at hatebreeder.de Called Hatebreeder's Mac Apps

  • i cant find stickies plz help me

  • Use the "To Do" lists on Mail App. I rarely turn off my computer, so this idea wouldn't be very practical for me. The Mail app To Do list will actually ring an alarm or email you to remind you to do it.

  • Two brilliant tips in one video - I've never really used spaces but this is definitely worth while.

Also, at university revising for law exams in a few weeks and these stickies will help a lot.

    Thank a lot.

  • thanks for info.

  • U have to pay money for this right

  • i use stickies for windows

so i will not 4get any homework and stuff like that

  • I've been using Stickies since Mac System 7, I'm so glad Apple kept it for Mac OS X. They do come in handy, at least for me.

    cool video :)

  • What abour physics?

  • i am very new to maac and would like to know how do you record the things on desktop, magnify a certain area, put text and all that stuff.

  • any programs for math and or CHEM??

  • coming soon, i promise, wat year are u in terms of education to use a chem app, as the one i will talk about soon is not free and is pretty expensive, but ill try find some alternatives.

  • check out my new video on elements !

  • yo drbuk do you know why you can't use ctrl+1, ctrl+2, etc to switch to spaces anymore? I'm using 4 horizontal spaces on 10.5.5

  • i use stickies in dashboard 2 remind me wat homework i got and wen i gotta hand it in by, its relly relly useful

  • Awesome. Very clever combining stickies with spaces. It really seems like these two things were meant to go together. I just setup stickies in my 3rd space so I can easily control+Down and control+Up to go back and forth between my main work area and stickies. Goodbye paper stickies on my desk!

Now, if MobileMe would sync stickies with iPhone :D

  • Does this work on Tiger?

  • tiger dosen't have spaces, but it does have stickies. an alternative for spaces is virtuedesktops.

    virtuedesktops(dot)info

    replace (dot) with .

  • A really good video! Keep it up! :)

  • anything like this for windows ???? that looks really cool :)

  • I used to stick sticky notes on my screen. haha. Thanks.

  • Thanks! This is going to help me a lot. I agree on how to-do lists need to be in your face. I hate putting notes on my iPod touch since I never check them.

  • Great video!!! I really like the layout of your stickies! I'm going to try it myself and see how it goes! :D

  • Nice Vid Adrian, never could find a use for stickies but this is perfect!!

  • I never thought of stickies in this manner, I actually never really used stickies, but I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

    Great vid!

  • Elements is a great app. I highly recommend it to anybody studying chemistry

  • Another cool video Adrian.

  • i recommend onenote to all windows owners, as if you know how to use it, you can sync it onto your usb to open up at school aswell, its really helpful and is also useful with notes.

hope this has provided someone with help

    matt

  • i tried to do a similar thing with microsoft one note..i had all these seperate 'notebooks' set up for my different school subjects...it worked REALLY well..becuase i had it open on startup so that like your stickies it was there as soon as windows booted.

and similar to yours i had about 6-7 different 'text boxes' in my first page notebook which was all my homework, assignments, things that needed to be done at home etc.....read next post

  • I switched to mac last friday, I'm still trying to get used to the OS but thats normal.

  • another great reason to get a mac. course you can always you notepad in windows. but that would be LAME lol

  • Like you I dont really see a use for stickies, but what I do do is I have iSync and my N958GB to sync everynight. And while im at school i'll put in a to do, or calender date with an alarm to go off the night before. Its been a life saver on more than one occasion.

  • great video. this will deffinetly come in handy

  • Something similar for Windows is Post-it Software Notes Lite... or Post it... of course you could always buy a Mac :-)

  • I prefer to use the stickies in dashboard, and put them onto my desktop, instead of having another app open. sounds weird but yeah.

  • very great application, im going to start using it! thanks

  • Very very useful! Never ever thought of using stickies like this! Very Useful! Thank you very much!
