Use the "To Do" lists on Mail App. I rarely turn off my computer, so this idea wouldn't be very practical for me. The Mail app To Do list will actually ring an alarm or email you to remind you to do it.
i like Mac. i have just joined the Apple mac students Page on Facebook. Its cool. I found out that Apple is giving good offers for University students in India. Here goes the toll free number if you wanna know more 18004254646!
coming soon, i promise, wat year are u in terms of education to use a chem app, as the one i will talk about soon is not free and is pretty expensive, but ill try find some alternatives.
Awesome. Very clever combining stickies with spaces. It really seems like these two things were meant to go together. I just setup stickies in my 3rd space so I can easily control+Down and control+Up to go back and forth between my main work area and stickies. Goodbye paper stickies on my desk!
Now, if MobileMe would sync stickies with iPhone :D
Thanks! This is going to help me a lot. I agree on how to-do lists need to be in your face. I hate putting notes on my iPod touch since I never check them.
i recommend onenote to all windows owners, as if you know how to use it, you can sync it onto your usb to open up at school aswell, its really helpful and is also useful with notes.
i tried to do a similar thing with microsoft one note..i had all these seperate 'notebooks' set up for my different school subjects...it worked REALLY well..becuase i had it open on startup so that like your stickies it was there as soon as windows booted.
and similar to yours i had about 6-7 different 'text boxes' in my first page notebook which was all my homework, assignments, things that needed to be done at home etc.....read next post
Like you I dont really see a use for stickies, but what I do do is I have iSync and my N958GB to sync everynight. And while im at school i'll put in a to do, or calender date with an alarm to go off the night before. Its been a life saver on more than one occasion.
hey im at uni and need something in my face like that to, otherwise i just dont look at the list i make or ignore it. im goin 2 set this up now! thanks for the vid. great help!!! cheers
I bought the 2011 iMac and it came installed with stickies.

Two brilliant tips in one video - I've never really used spaces but this is definitely worth while.
Also, at university revising for law exams in a few weeks and these stickies will help a lot.
Thank a lot.

I've been using Stickies since Mac System 7, I'm so glad Apple kept it for Mac OS X. They do come in handy, at least for me.

I prefer to use the stickies in dashboard, and put them onto my desktop, instead of having another app open. sounds weird but yeah.
