In all my experiences riding I can safely say that I think horses have the most distinct personalities of all animals. Seriously. I've worked closely with dogs, cats, rodents, everything, but horses have such strong personalities it's incredible. Horses are funny and playful and they have distinct likes and dislikes (my horse hates apples) you just have to listen.

@rchcc122 yes i know! once w let all the horses from different paddocks in the arena (and we had people with whips in case stuff got out of hand) and you could see it! one horse who was low on the pecking order started trying to impress one of the highest females and she was bullying him and another horse tried to go to him and the famale stopped her like she was saying no! hes just retarded! and then another horse went to her andthe first one went and picked a fight and we had to separate them
