pretty good commentator. Jansher won some major B.O. he sure doesn't stink though :) well played!!! annoying aussie kept trying to get lets but that didn't work in the end
@shermanxia Rubbish - There are not 100 players out there who could have beaten Jansher - there may be one or two who could have got close to him but that's all he was far and away the best ever - watch and see
You are living in a fool's paradise. Squash was at the best during the days of Jansher and Jahangir. Current players are good in speed but their long term stamina is not that good. This was 15 points system and now they are playing just 11 point scoring system.
Eyles wasted alot of points fishing for lets instead of playing the ball. Alot of people accused Jansher of gamesmanship but this match showed me Eyles was worse. One thing I could never understand is how Eyles played with that piece of shit Prince racket. You can't hit a straight drive to save your life with that model!
@widebody123 Eyles was just too late on most of these balls and resorted to negative tactics in order to get into Jansher's mind. Among cry-babies he ranks up there with Jonathan Power. I watched Eyles play several times during the 90's and he was pretty much like this with all opponents.
I think Jansher is a great, no a magnificent player, and try and follow his technique where possible, however I am having a hard time understanding how Eyles got no let in the top left hand corner, can someone please explain?
what an display of a usual austrelian donky ass attitued...... the idiot was trying to bully his way out ..............what a great attitued and sportman spirit by the legend of squash jansher khan................
@PREDATOR925 : Pretty broad assumptions on Aussies, individuals actions don't describe a certain race. Jansher covers the court like a floating hummingbird. Its amazing to watch. Good Video
@Pougee: I agree with PREDATOR925 cuz present day David Palmer is just like that. There are many videos here him pushing his opponents. Especially with legend Jonathan Powers his matches are physical and he is the one pushing other player. I hope this is not the "style" of Aussies :-)
I dont think all Aussies are like that but I see the similar pattern here :-)
I think Eyles should have learnt how to play; and then he should have played with kids.. Because he is incapable of playing with a LEGEND like JANSHER!!!

The last two points of the match were clearly, on replay, poor calls by the judges. Take the second to last. The ball was up high bouncing towards Jansher who was blocking out Eyles. When Jansher saw the poor call by the judges he exploited their weakness to win the match. Eyles clearly could have used some coaching by Jansher's coach on how to exploit bad judges...
Don't think so. Probably some private company. You can see a lot of Jansher's matches from the 90s on the psa live website. You'd have to pay for it though.
Eyles seems to expect Jansher to basically vanish into thin air after playing the strokes. What a fucking bully. Thankfully, Jansher was good enough to overcome all this.
Because Jansher couldn't show up for the 1997 World Open. If he had, most likely Eyles's World Open victories would have been nil while Jansher's would have been 9.
Love the music at the end lol.

Jansher was so unbeatable even against great Australian players.
Luckily for Eyles he finally won the 1997 World Open.
