Try to go on the journey when it is not too cloudy ........
Once on the train just enjoy the ever changing scenery , it is a very beautiful train journey to go on ..... two memorable moments for me were the 360 degree "spin" round the viaduct , and when the train trundled down the main street in Tirano , very close to the houses lining the street .. take care if you lean out of the train windows .
What a swell movie. Do you have your wife hold onto your legs as you lean out of the train window(s) to catch those great shots. Aren't you afraid of snagging yourself on one of those poles alongside the track? Best regards, Tome
Thanks for the comment Tome ..... I asked my wife if she ever felt like holding my legs on the train .... she said she was too busy hanging out of windows herself !! I have to say I did keep a look out for what was approaching ...
The return trip ( Tirano back to St Moritz ) was made after an hours stay in Tirano , by which time the cloud and mist had gone ... several things to see that are not in this film .....will probably put the film on You Tube soon ..
great video.. will be there this coming spring! Any tip/trick for this ride?
