@Antionemarquis make your xbox's ip address static and assigning it your own ip.

you can do this by going on the xbox. Network settings. and it should be somewhere in there. hope that helped.

@GE1GER the same thing happen to me, make sure you're under port range forwarding and not single range forwarding. hope this helps

Just DMZ the xbox get the ip of the xbox than type the address in the DMZ section than your done .No port forward needed ect.

@xxCyylonexx you can hard reset your router. when you do, you will have to reconfigure everything. and then it will give you an option to type a new username and password

OK, so for the ports i did, for the first row, (80-80 both) and then second row (3074-3074 both) because your layout wasnt working for me. i enabled them and put the ip address in. then i changed my xbox to manual and retyped everything from the automatic settings in. on manual it said "moderate" even with all the same settings. i changed it back to automatic and it said "open". still the same settings. but when its on automatic it stays open for only a few hours. I NEED HELP. PLEASE ANSWER.

this works grest ! just make sure you dont have you ip setting on your 360 to automatic ..make sure you enter manually..your ip will change if its on automatic ..so it will still stay strict or wahtever

Didn't work for me, unfortunately. My xbox's IP address constantly changes, even though it's set to automatic. Good video though, worked for a bunch of others by the look of it.

change it to static

then assign it a ip address ex: 192.168.1.103

then in your router settings make sure you use that ip

try that and see if it works

thats why its changing, because you have it set to dynamic. change it to static and give it the last 3 numbers you want to use....and when you are forwarding your ports put the last 3 digits that you put into your xbox ip address into the ip address on your router..hope that helped
