I am Giving away a free MP3 Set "Experience The Almighty" A Conference that was recorded at Friends Langley Vineyard.Graham Cooke leads us prophetically into a time where we can prepare for the next season, the next challenge, the next call in our lives by upgrading our view of God.
Graham Cooke you were one of the first to usher in the prophetic and activate the gifts ;but the Lord has this against you. You have not rebuke those who exploit the like of Todd bentley for money with false doctrine this you shall be held accountable for by the Lord.
is this guy stuck on Stupid ?? Christians are following Christ..hince the name name Christ !!! Christianity is not a religion ..its a relationship with our savoir and father Christ Jesus..this guy has no idea what a Christian is or what it means.
No, I think he is making a good point, he is basically saying that the "religion" Chrisitianity has been abused and misused and is misleading people. You should be a "doer" of the word, not just a "hearer." And you can call yourself a "Christian" all you want, but in the end it doesn't matter. It only matters whether you followed "the way" or not.
People like to say "I am a Christian." As if they are "better" because they say it. As if they are more of a human being than other people because of it. If you are a true Christian you realize that everybody is equal and you treat am as such. You become "like Christ" by following his teachings. You either are a Christian or you aren't, and calling yourself one doesn't make you one. "BEING" one does.
Remember, Jesus said, "Don't cast pearls before swine." He also said to pray in private, and do your good deeds in private. It sounds as if Jesus wants us to live "truth" and not build an Ego(illusion.) And many Christians try "forcing" their teachings and views on people. I think Jesus wants us to be "examples" through actions. And yes, if somebody asks, you should say you are a Christian.
So in other words, people make "following Christ" a "religion" and look at it as such instead of actually "applying" the teachings. Jesus said, "Don't be a hypocrite, decieving yourselves." And "Be a doer, not just a hearer of the word." It is application of the wisdom that brings understanding, not the hearing of the words.
Oh, and "is this guy stuck on stupid" doesn't sound very "christian" like. Just thought I would point that out. Sounds like you need more "seeking." It doesn't say "Read and you shall know." It says, "Seek and you shall find."
Here is a good question to ask yourself. Why are their so many different denominations of Christ? Jesus clearly said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." His message is clear. Be loving, be kind, be patient, be sober, and be alert. He clearly speaks what can be applied into your life. A lot of people focus on "dogma," I say you cannot apply dogma into your life so to a huge degree it is meaningless. It isn't what "saves you" or makes you a better christian.
Church is a place where you learn different interpretations of the word, and the "kingdom" is when you understand through "experience" of the teachings what Jesus was talking about. And once you "understand" through experience, you have been born again.
Once you understand/become born again, you can see the kingdom of heaven. You can see the vision of Christ and join the kingdom. You are saved through following and then understanding. And since you understand, you are no longer walking in darkness but in light. You are helping the world not hurting it. That is my interpretation at least, and I am pretty sure it is correct.
The bible says the kingdom of God is within you. So it is telling you to first go within and fix your own problems(hate, anger, guilt, etc...) and find inner peace before preacing/teaching it. You can't spread truth unless you know truth. Otherwise it is the blind leading the blind. "Don't point out the speck in your neighbors eye when you have a log in your own, first remove the log from your own eye, and then remove the speck from your neighbors."
You could also say the church is for making other christian friends, helping spread the word, and strengthening the christian community. But it is not for "understanding" the word. That comes through trials and tribulations(life problems) and applying the word(wisdom) that Jesus taught. And that is when understanding comes.
KowKow has missed the point! As the bible points out, Christians are not part of a system or philosophy, we are a family involved in a loving personal relationship which comes from God, through God and is heading for a promised land together. Jesus was a Jew, but the Jews as a family of God, never became what God still plans for them to be. The same can be said of all Christian denominations. We need to listen, hear and follow Jesus.
I have seen Graham in person read some of his books etc. and I like him BUT( you knew that was coming )How can being called a Christian as the Scripture defines Christian...given the rights and privileging thereof; be something to distance yourself from? Christianity( to me ) has nothing to do with what may exist in some mediocre state across the land. Nor does it limit it in any way.
THIS IS SO TRUE!! I am a believer ! Wash off your tags!

You are right, Jesus is a Jew. That is what he came as and that is what he wanted to be known as.
