  • This is what i took to the knee O.O

  • Cant decide if I should get the four or five foot pro.......... The five seems more cumbersome, but the four has less range...........

  • Cool video, but I hate coke zero :)

  • @weWILLskate - That's why we killed it my friend. Thanks for watching!

  • Hey check out my video blowgun blunder

  • @TheseFourHorsemen - Ok, where's it at? Thanks for your comments and for watching!

  • frogs? people hunt frogs?

  • Since you can use it as a club, what material is this blowgun made of ??

Pretty impressive. I like to have one.

  • @roland35405 aluminum the standard series is 1.7mm thick, the pro ones are 3mm thick

  • cool video. Also whats the average range?

  • @Argo108 - You can extend the range if you are good enough by raising the angle of the bore of the blowgun, but for us we have found it to be less than 20 yards. I guess this also depends on if you are using poisoned tips or if you are relying on the brunt force trauma and penetration to kill your game. Appreciate the comments! Thanks for watching!

  • its not a pro model if its two piece

  • i bought a 4 foot for hunting, and its way too slow for hunting. i don't know if i just have weak lungs, but its very unlikely, i have taken breathing tests at the doctor for asthma check and they say all good. im gonna try right now to get elevated to see if that gives me more power...any suggestions?

  • @mortalcare Purse your lips slightly and exhale in one quick forceful motion. Try to imagine you are trying to blow over a brick building and mean it when you do it. Good luck and thanks for watching!

  • @SurvivalReviews

I hold my tongue over the breach and build up pressure in my cheeks and release it. Works better.

  • @NeoNSPETSNAZ - Sounds like a good technique.

  • @NeoNSPETSNAZ thats how i always shot spitballs and blowguns works great thought it was a natural technique

  • just don't hold it the wrong way and breathe in :P

  • not the pro model

  • @buckmark17 - What makes you say that? Thanks for watching!

  • @SurvivalReviews Its the two piece model...which they don't sell in the pro-series.

  • do you recommend a one piece or a two piece blow gun?

  • @drmstx - I personally recommend a 2 piece blowgun for ease of concealment and transportation. Some people say that the 1 piece is stronger so that is better, but keep in mind that you really won't be putting any weight on the blowgun or using it as an impact weapon. If you did choose to use the blowgun as an impact weapon, they you would get one maybe two strikes before it would bend. The 2 piece design does not have any issues with a loss of air pressure. If you can afford it, go with 2 piece

  • i make my blow darts out of metal hangers for clothes, and a 1 dollar 3/4 inch plastic tube from home depot, and sharpen them wiht a sharpening stone and they go thru 1/2 inch of 2 by 4 wood, cold steel sucks ballz

  • @BallerSkier - Kudos to you for being innovative with your improvised blowgun! Unfortunately, that isn't an option for some because of time, availability of materials, or desire, therefore Cold Steel is a good option for them. Opinions vary about any company, product, or individual, but Cold Steel has a reputation for quality, customer service, and fantastic products. They don't need me to defend them, their products do enough of that. Thanks for watching!

  • @SurvivalReviews Did I buy a PVC pipe? Or a Cold steel blow gun with nice rubber mouth peace Dart quiver. 2 pc that can break down & only bend a little if I have to beet the crap out of a small gang? Plus I can still make my own darts? Let the little boy play with his plastic pipe :-) For me I will take a Cold steel blowgun!!!! Video coming soon.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX - you know that's right! Thanks for watching!

  • i make my blow darts out of metal hangers for clothers and sharpen them wiht a sharpening stone and they go tru halfand inch of 2/4 wood, cold steel sucks ballz

  • how come you didnt use the bamboo dart

  • @SuperGerman40 - Yeah sorry about that. We will do another video where we show the bamboo darts! Thanks for watching!

  • @SuperGerman40 - Yeah sorry mate. We shot some video of that, but it wasn't production worthy. Thanks for watching!

  • I wish i could have seen the bamboo darts. I bought like 50 of them. I heard they could kill a rabbit and really hurt a medium sized animal like a dog or a coyote.

  • @Sweetiethemane222 - Thanks for watching! I thought we showed the bamboo darts, but I guess that was an oversight on our part. Sorry about that. We will have to do another video where we show those. Thanks again!

  • @SurvivalReviews thanks alot cuhz.

  • @themegajosh09 - Thanks for the information and followup. What is the typical distance from target to the blowgun when you kill your birds? Thanks!

  • @SurvivalReview snot super far because birds arent large. for birds i try for 15 -20ft max

i shot a squirrel moving from 15 feet.

and i shot a raccoon out of a tree and it died, from 25ft or so.

howerver i have been able to hit a 9by11 inch target from 125 ft but i can only hit it with bamboo darts, no wind and like 2 out of 6 tries.

  • @themegajosh09 - That is pretty darn good! In case of TEOTWAWKI, I want you with me bud! Sounds like you could definitely rustle up some grub with shooting skill like that. Did the dart kill the squirrel and what dart did you use? Thanks!

  • @SurvivalReviews thanks, it took the squirrel a long time to die, but i used the mini broad head there great hunting darts that is one of the cheap darts they make by a couple bucks...im liking the new stun darts alot i havnt tried it but im thinking they will just kill birds, not stun them....i will eventually get around to making a video of the cold steel big bore blowgun this summer!

  • nice slow motion

  • @Starwolf686 - Thanks partner!

  • i've only had one blowgun in my life and it was 12 inches but id like to collect them any recomended brands?

  • @bball69dawg - Thanks for watching our video. We are fans of Cold Steel but there are many good manufacturers available especially considering that the blowgun is such a simple weapon to make. You may try Cheaperthandirt(dot)com or Sportsmansguide(dot)com for good deals on cheaper models. The terminator blowgun series seems pretty good to me and they are made in the USA, whereas most blowguns are made in China. Heck you can even make your own blowgun if you put your mind to it. Thanks!

  • actually that model is the standard one, not the pro...nice video btw

  • @15Palamita - Thank you for watching.

  • @15Palamita he must have got screwed both times haha in and out

  • Acually, cold steel also has razor tips and zytel broadheads

  • @meeksdds - Thanks for the information buddy and thanks for watching!

  • You might like my Exploding Tip Blow Dart Video.

  • Wow! That's cool!

  • @Thersch - That's how we roll! Just kidding. Thank you for watching!
