Pink Floyd is a so diversified band.. Listen Relics then Dark Side then The Wall then Division Bell... That's 4 differents things.. Personnaly, I prefer the Waters era more than the Barett x Gilmour era although this piece is wonderful.

And this diversity makes all the grandeur of PF.

Oh God I love this song, and the reason why this album isn't as popular is because it isn't pop 60's, it Prog Rock, which didn't reach its golden age until the 1970's. And sure Bieber and Gaga are famous now but in 50 years will we remember who they are NO. This is because Pop music is about the here and now and not just one genre. If the beatles played music that sounded like the stuff on Please Please Me throughout there entire career then they wouldnt be what they are today.

music in this day and age has come a long way. I find that all music is good in some way. I have no preference to what i listen to whether its 1920's blues or lady gaga. music has its own evolution like mankind and will eventually go back to its simplest form. This song is very complex and music has been getting like that but in the end it all boils down to rhythm, melody and beat. I agree that creativity is not as common as it was back when this was made but music changes with the times.
