How do you get it to run so smoothly on DOSBOX?

I try increasing the frames to speed things up, but that barely helps (it drags even at 100,000 frames!) at all and the sound skips.

If someone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

This happens to me when I play more detailed mods with shaded lighting (it that the right term?), i.e. Sensenmann, Spear: End of Destiny, Halls of Stonehenge, etc.

Ya some Mods with Advance Coding (Shading, Milti floor and ceiling Tex, ect.) does that...i dunno how to make it more smoothly
