  • I want to know.

  • @PCWizKid

Hey, I've looked around and i cant find this cooler anywhere!

    have any suggestions?

  • Hey, I've looked around and i cant find this cooler anywhere!

    have any suggestions?

  • where do you get the money to get this stuff

  • companies probably send to him to review so they get publicity.

  • would the Noctua NH-D14 get better temps with that i5?

  • this cooler is huge i dont see a need for it the vendetta cost $25 and keeps my core 2 quad at under 50 celcuis the v8 is the only one i would get why would you buy a 2 pound cooler??????????????????????????????????

  • Nice cooler.

Does it have full clearance for tall RAM-sinks also with push pull? Please answer.

  • Zalman CNP9700 on Q6600 here.

  • @SirDamned No one gives a shit there.

  • Counter retort

  • i'm running the coolit systems freezone elite, does quite a good job

  • What kind of program do you use when recording the core temperature and stuff?

  • cpu-z

  • thats for the core speed and stuff , but i want the program from core temperature , gpu temperature and more temp.

  • Try realtemp, only real reliable temperature readings that i got so far ;)

  • I want an all gold cooler

  • I want your mom's ass!!!!

  • THANKS YOU VIDEO

  • @PCWizKid the thermal grease you used, and the one you use in your other videos, how does it compare to Arctic Silver 5? And which thermal grease will be best for overclocking? a chart or comparison of some sort would be nice, though i cant seem to find any on the interwebs..

  • i got my computer with an AMD Phenom x3 64bit CPU and vista home premium 32 bit :( will my computer run alot faster with 64 bit windows?

  • yes it will, and will freeze less

  • It looks tacky & oversized, even if it did fit in my case I wouldn't want one.

  • what does ur comment have with mine to do?

  • so freakin oversized. wouldnt it damage the motherboard if you were carrying your pc around

  • this reminds me of the coolermaster one i forgot wahts it called

  • Hi, PCWizKid! I want to ask you. How can I install Windows XP on SATA hard drive? Now I have Vista on my computer. When i am booting, it's not appear anything. Sorry about my bad english. Can you make a tutorial about it. A lot of peoples have this problem, and need one very good tutorial to resolve this problem. Please, help! You are my last chance to solve this problem. Please. I have Windows XP for sata, but it's not working!

  • I never used CPU Cooler before and I am just wondering what do fans are supposed to do? Exhaust? or is it In-taking? If two fans, 1 exhausting and 1 in-taking?

  • Fans on heatsinks (coolers) are used to push or pull air trough hot fins to remove heat (position of fan/fans depends on the design of cooler). Case fans put produced hot air from heatsinks out of the case, or provide fresh air in the case.

  • Isn't Copper is better ? nickel ?

  • Yes that's right, but it is also more expensive. The thermal transport of Nickel is sufficient enough for the fins, the heatpipes are copperbased for faster dissipation;-)

  • What would be a good temp to keep AMD Phenom II 965 Black 125 W? And what would be the highest you want it to go? Good review!

  • So how did it do with 2 fans? Or wasn't there any difference?

  • @PhycoDreamer with 2 fans its about 2 to 5 degrees cooler.

  • @PCWizKid

Okay thank you for the info. =)

  • this cooler sucks. my H50 has load temps of 52C and idles at 31C and I'm using a i5 750 OC'd at 4.1ghz on 1.36V.

  • @edge160 on idel this cooler does the same as your H50 basically wow. The H50 is a water cooler so you cant compare it.

  • @edge160 You are comparing water to air. Go figure.

  • Well, the H50 is crappy water cooler compared to a real water cooling kit.

  • have to remember he cambient temps too...

  • @SungSamuel1003 Right, I am consistent in all my tests witha ambient room temperature of 20C with a CLOSED case (real world test). Not like all those other websites that review their Coolers in a open case.

  • nice cooler

  • I've been looking at a CPU cooler for a while now and I still think that the Prolimatech is my best bet. Every review I see it's one of the best at keeping temps down.

  • thats neat,,,,,nice

  • copper pipes don't connect to cpu directly

  • is this for any pc ?

  • what cpu do you have?

  • intel(R) Pentuim(R) 4

    CPU 2.40GHZ

but my pc is a dell optiplex GX260 but costum kast no standaard shit..

  • @xXMELVINXx16 im lol´d

  • iam dutch faggot..

  • Wow... that heatsink would rip a hole on my cheap-ass ECS Elitegroup mobo for sure!!!!

  • how do you buy all these computer stuff ?

  • He gets them for free because he reviews them!!! LUCKY

  • how many computers do you have?

  • i never realized how silly cpu cooling have got over the years. i have fan similar to that design and it's a freakin' dust magnet, wish these designers gave out cleaning tips

  • mercury free?

  • awesome review, i used glacialtech cpu coolers 5+ years ago and the coolers werent that good as now.

  • awesome mobo

  • Hey, I got a AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE and was thinking about O.C'ing to around 4.2GHz, Is this a good cooler to get, or should i go with the Coolermaster v8?

  • which cpu cooler is better the f101 or the coolermaster v8 ?

  • f101

  • @servertot15 from the website I go to (frostytech) they rank them as keeping the CPU exactly the same at 18.4 C above ambient. The only difference is the F101 is rated at 47.5 DB (loudness) and the CM is rated at 52.6 DB. Hope that helps in your decision!

  • "Don't assume it'll do that." Well... A stock Celeron D cooler didn't overheat yet and my temps are the same and I never knew I had to flatten it (Since Arctic Silver never said you had to)....

  • nice vid wizkid

  • @Iuliskaya I must say the v8 is still better, unless you add the 2nd fan on this one.

  • looks hot i mean cool :P

  • yay! 1080p

  • umm... those temps don't seems so great... but then i'm an AMD guy and don't really now what Intel temps should be. Maybe if you slap two hi speed yates on it it will work better.

  • @AgentHydra I did add another fan afterwards and it lowered it a few degrees yes.

  • hot :O

  • actually, cool!

  • wat does he mean, when he says "full load" ?

  • it means he gona blow any moment .......

  • It means all the cores are being used @ 100%.

  • How's this cooler compared to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus?

  • @sandiegoborn32 This is better than the Hyper 212

  • Can you give figures to back that? The design seems pretty similar. But I feel that way about all heat pipe/aluminum fin heat sinks. But please, explain why you feel it's better. Simply saying it doesn't make it so (and please, don't just say "Well I did a review on it, go check it out!" because that seems lazy to me.) I have a CM Hyper 212+ and I don't see this being worth the cash to upgrade. But as I said, all heat pipe/ aluminum fins seems the same to me.

  • Sorry to double post, but I just checked frostytech's website. And the CM 212 Hyper+ actually cools better, by there testing methonds (125W thermal test, CM's cools at 14.4 C at 50.1 DB, GlacialTechs cools at 17.1 C at 47.5 DB.) Just wanted to post that up and say that different testings methods will yield different results. Not bashing PCWizKid but just stating my opinion and comparing methods. Cheers!

  • (and those are over ambient conditions, not actually making the CPU cooler than the surrounding areas. That would be impossible on air.)

  • @GreeneMan510 what about the CM V8? is the cm 212 hyper better than V8?

  • @Zillerz3 It honestly depends on your setup. On frostytech's site (which I really find to be thorough) they rank the 212 better for 775/1156 (85W & 150W CPU's) and the v8 is better for AMD platforms. How they came to the conclusion is interesting, so google it. Personally I like the 212 cause it's cheap and well made. And you can always put a second fan on it for a push/pull configuration. I find some reviewers test methods to be flawed though. But to each their own.

  • Frostytech is bullshit.

  • @GreeneMan510 I think not. They compared it with the F101 under my setup? I agree the CM 212 is better than the GlacialTech IGLOO but when I tested it it was NOT better than the F101 sorry.

  • Intel Core i3/i5/i7 run so hot :O

I'm running my Phenom II 965 at 4GHz with a Noctua U12P, under max load (Prime95 Large FFT) it only hits 50c!

This cooler look nice though, huge :D

  • i3 i5 i7 dont run hot vs the core 2 quads in temrs of hear/performance

especially the i5 which run cooler than c2d

  • OVERKILL

  • i dont like it

  • thats what she said

  • its huge

  • can you review the asus m4a78-e mobo?

  • wow this intels are hot. I remember when I was runing 4.00 with my phenom II 965 125watts edition max temp at full load was 52c and my voltage was highe than yours in this video. it was 1.48 So that means eaither this cpu is too hot or this cooler sux.

  • Nice cooler but for about another $10 you can go hydro with better cooling performance.

  • I found this such a strange design, oh well i'm happy with my Prolimatech Megahalems push pull configuration :-)

  • nice

do you have a vid how to overcloak safe ?

for the temperature I use SpeedFan

and how do i know what the max temperature is from my core ?

  • Nice!!

  • Cool, but PCwizkid,

What is the best Liquid cooling system or the one you think is best?

  • @PivotAX Corsair makes a good one.

  • thanks

  • @PivotAX CORSAIR H50

  • check out the corsair h50

    great temps and price

  • Its actually pretty crap compared to custom loops.

  • If you have the money, I'd go with a Swiftech Apogee GTZ block with a Corsair D4 pump and a Black Ice GTX 360 radiator. You can throw in a reservoir too if you want, or if you want to save money you can simply make a fill port out of extra tubing.

  • I think the white fan is ugly.

  • I love your dynamic intro music lol
