Singspiel was great on the racetrack. A Dubai World Cup and Japan Cup winner. Also won the Canadian International Stakes, the Coronation Cup, the Gordon Richards Stakes, and the Select Stakes. Singspiel was also fantastic in the breeding shed as well. Having sired back to back Sheema Classic winners. Eastern Anthem in 2009, and Dar Re Mi in 2010. Dar Re Mi also won the G1 Audi Pretty Polly Stakes in Ireland, the G1 Yorkshire Oaks at York, and was D.Q.'d from the win in the G1 Prix Vermielle.

今日初めて見ました…。

いずれにしてもこういった事故でジョッキーを非難するのは見当違­いとしか言えません。マスコミもファンも安全なところでただ見て­いるだけでしょう…。

ジョッキーは馬が故障すれば、最悪自分の命が落とす状況の中で騎­乗しているんですから。

この事故がもし主戦の横山典騎手以外の騎手で起きていたら、

それこそすべてのファン、関係者により大きな後悔が残ったでしょ­う。

彼女自身も最期まで横山典騎手の騎乗で走れたことが幸せだったと­思います。

This was 1997...Singpiel was truly horse of the world.....96 canadian international stakes,,2nd breeders cup turf, 96 Japan Cup, 97 dubai world cup...etc,etc.

What was the date of the 1997 Dubai World Cup? I know it was delayed for about a week (from the original date) but I am not sure about the exact date.

what happened in the turn? At least two horses down. Was this 2006 or when? I know I could check it from the official site...but I'm lazy. :p

The two horses that fell were Hokuto Vega, a mare from Japan, and Bijou D'Inde. I believe that it was Hokuto Vega that went down initially, and was euthanized following the race.
