@LogicTT Its a habit. A lot of people copy the pros and do it. Its a trick from Halo 1, called Ogre Twitching. The Ogre Twins found out that in Halo 1, you spawn with your aim slightly off your reticle and doing that gets rid of it. Its completely pointless though in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Another common thing to see is people crouching when they spawn.
@Doxxxan Yeah, I seem to recall hearing something like that, but I've since heard some people say it's to get used to a sensitivity, or to keep the thumbs active, personally I think it's counter-productive...

While that is true, I think the real reason they are using the Carbine is it forces you to be more accurate. With the BR, you dont have to have you reticle on your opponent (look at the way Walshy shoots), but rather have it be on when you can shoot the next shot. With the Carbine, you dont have that advantage, for every moment of a battle with it, you have to be aiming perfectly at your opponent
The opinion of the MLG community is Ogre 2 is better. In H1 Ogre had a way better sniper though. Its difficult to say who was better in H2, but in H3, no one disagrees Ogre 2 is better

ODST is another game made using the same engine as Halo 3, but the artists have had more time with it now. The campaign will be an open world. A new miltu mode called firefight where you fight off waves of enemies will be included as well as the beta multi for Halo: Reach which is basically Halo 4. ODST is really Halo 3 with a new storyline, campaign format, character's and some ther stuff. Halo: Reach is the true sequel.

If you played any competitive Halo 2 at all, you'd know that while shooting didn't take a whole lot of skill, the teamwork, double shots and other glitches, and map design in Halo 2 are far better than the ones in Halo 3. And random spread equals more skill? So it takes more skill because it is uncontrollable and could mean a loss for the team due to sheer luck? That does not equal skill.

Once the double shot and all that jazz got big, if you had trouble pulling the double shot off against someone who could, its GG. Close range was also huge in halo 2, but in halo 3 its a fucking joke.
Agree with most of this, but i think Halo2 took more skill imo. Yes, halo2 had mods + controllers, but to legitly perfect a quad shot, i've never seen it after playing 2+ years and spending a lot of my time practicing it i've pulled off few, eventually getting to 1 quad shot a game successfully killing with it. Super Jumps took skill too, some were easy, but others were very challenging. Halo2 was much faster paced then H3 is. Either way the whole halo series takes skil.

if you started on halo 3 only i dont recomend it but if u played halo 2 before.. and u switched to halo 3.. id buy halo 3... its more of the chilled back fun old time version of halo3.. you could try getting it though its a great game..
yeah halo 2 on xbl was a bitch compared to halo 3 on xbl; at least from my experience with online play in those two games. But then again the glitches in halo 2 are easier to do compared to those in halo 3. i think they're both great games to play online though.
Halo 2 was all about getting your double shot and BxR down, the auto aim was a joke compared to both halo CE and Halo 3, Maps on halo 2 were amazing, but all I can say going up with the original xbox, LANing with halo CE to playing halo 2 and 3 religously I can safely say that Halo3 takes a LOT more strategy and is based on tatics, power weapons, and teamwork. Halo2 if there was 2-3 ppl attacking you you could depending on skill get out with a triple. Halo3 notta chance. Halo 3 takes more skill

Carbine has no spread so is better at a distance and kills slightly faster... not counting double shots.

they both take skill but halo 3 takes more because the sniping is harder and in halo 2 it will give you an automatic headshot if you aim anywhere around their head with a sniper rifle

So because you have to lead your shots means it automatically takes more skill? If you played any competitive Halo 2 at all, you'd know that while shooting didn't take a whole lot of skill, the teamwork, double shots and other glitches, and map design in Halo 2 are far better than the ones in Halo 3. And random spread equals more skill? So it takes more skill because it is uncontrollable and could mean a loss for the team due to sheer luck? That does not equal skill.

From what i have heard everyone would say the only reason they couldn't get to 50 in H2 was because they ran into modders every other game...

In a way halo 3 takes more skill due to the lead in spread, but if you had no BR in halo 2 you couldnt even compete. Once the double shot and all that jazz got big, if you had trouble pulling the double shot off against someone who could, its GG. Close range was also huge in halo 2, but in halo 3 its a fucking joke.

Agree with most of this, but i think Halo2 took more skill imo. Yes, halo2 had mods + controllers, but to legitly perfect a quad shot, i've never seen it after playing 2+ years and spending a lot of my time practicing it i've pulled off few, eventually getting to 1 quad shot a game successfully killing with it. Super Jumps took skill too, some were easy, but others were very challenging. Halo2 was much faster paced then H3 is. Either way the whole halo series takes skil.

ODST's mulitplayer will be the exact same as Halo 3. The only difference is that ODST comes with all the multiplayer maps + 3 new.

i loved the button glitches cause thats what seperated the good from the bad...i hated em at first but when your able to pull a double shot without thinking it gets soooo fun...but yeah...the cheating definitely turned me off..i could'nt get above 42 without getting standbyed

yeah halo 2 on xbl was a bitch compared to halo 3 on xbl; at least from my experience with online play in those two games. But then again the glitches in halo 2 are easier to do compared to those in halo 3. i think they're both great games to play online though.

Halo 2 was all about getting your double shot and BxR down, the auto aim was a joke compared to both halo CE and Halo 3, Maps on halo 2 were amazing, but all I can say going up with the original xbox, LANing with halo CE to playing halo 2 and 3 religously I can safely say that Halo3 takes a LOT more strategy and is based on tatics, power weapons, and teamwork. Halo2 if there was 2-3 ppl attacking you you could depending on skill get out with a triple. Halo3 notta chance. Halo 3 takes more skill

because you have to think more and work better as a team. Halo2 is hella fun and was a blast while it was big but we have moved on. Btw Pro's in Halo CE quit cause of halo 2 cause of it's gameplay with autoaim etc.. ex HP darkman, and Pro's in Halo 2 quit cause of halo 3 cause there double shots and BxRs didn't exist anymore so they were worthless, they are all different games but IMO is goes HaloCE>Halo3>Halo2

yes. and yeah, thats why in halo 3 there are less carbines then BRs, its like a mini power weapon, but, since you have to tap trigger, its easy to aim wrong.

1: pros always go for br cuz of the effectiveness at all ranges

karma uses carbine instead of BR. this map is smaller so carbine'll destroy BR. Oh and dont say pros dont shoot dead bodies, and um they're both pros and two of the best players so a quad shot'll be wayyy to hard.

1) Carbine is just as effective as BR
2) They werent camping, they were crouching because they are playing with radars.
3) This is a 1v1 custom match. Do you really think they care about wasting ammo when there are carbines and BR's all over the map?
4) Its extremely hard to pull off a double shot. People dont usually try it in 1v1 matches, usually only in TS games.
