  • ohhhhwww babby feelin alright

  • Didn't know that cover. It's a very decent one. Thanks ;-)

  • y cuando yo te amo a ti, qué?

  • i come across with many japanese fans on YT of Winwood 80s era for real..they have a pont all thAT synthesizer and percussion..but i love his older times as well..I have been to his concerts twice with Clapton, once in a life time experience..

  • I grew up with my parents playing the Marvin Gaye version, but this is pretty dang good.

  • THIS it's the most sublime cover in the history of youtube......

  • Can you imagine the SOUL dripping from the stage if Steve Winwood was in a group with Glenn Hughes.

  • @jrakarl That's something I'd like to see! Two power houses! He should sit in with Black Country Communion for a few tracks as a bonus.

  • I don't care who sings this, It is badd ass!!

  • how can a group that looks like that in the photo produce this version?? SO UNDERRATED!!!!!

  • @tdavidc80 Just shows how looks don't matter! The Spencer Davis Group were my all time favourite in the 60's, playing consistently great music with the great Stevie Winwood on vocals.

  • Not bad for a skinny pimple faced English white boy.

  • Been in love with this voice since I was a kid.

  • Never heard this before, this album was not released in the U.S. in its entirety, some of it is on Heavies, a compilation of sorts, but not this

  • Pues no se si será una cuestion generacional, pero a mi me gusta mucho esta versión!! Esa voz desgarrada me llega, me mata!!!! me encanta!!!!

  • Its good, but DONT compare this to Percy Sledge

  • @kuriouslee winwood > sledge all day

  • One Britain's most talented musicians, period.

  • One Britain's most talented musicians period.

  • this is good but Percy...mercy!

  • It's my favorite. remember ...

  • Wow wow wow. Perfection.

  • Makes Michael Bolton sound like a fool!

  • @twoslices There's not possible comparison. Bolton is awful in this

  • @TheRunner75 Right, Stevie was magic on this.

  • @twoslices yea babby pure gold

  • This big blues from my tender years for ever

  • this version has never been beat

  • @tamlin10

Muff Winwood became a producer for Island records after the split with Spencer Davis. Davis hired Muff in 1963 together with his 15 year old brother Steve becouse of legal law reasons. Muff was 20 Years at that time and he took care of his younger brother, when they toured.

  • what ever happened to muff winwood? his younger brother definitely stole the show. whenever i listen to spencer davis, i can only say, cleveland rocks!!!

  • Oh yes! It remembers me on the greatest love of my life... I heared that song day by day and cried and cried as that love was gone...

  • hurts so good

  • OK people.. Steve is singing this to me! thats it.. I found it..

  • i am feeling 40 years younger

  • I prefer this version!

  • I love this version!!!

  • wow mind blowing..a great tribute if not equal delivery of the song

  • Pure genius right there

  • Stevie Winwood knows how to express his Soul. The sweetness of this song is still intact.

  • another sickengly good track from the lads!!

wish Id been THIS musically talented at 17 - or even NOW!!! lol!!

    Lee
