However, when a person, in order to protect a life, takes a life, that is a different situation entirely. The 6th commandment in the original Hebrew also makes this differentiation. Furthermore, God himself draws a line between the two. Just read through the Levitical laws.

@dochollidae85 Depending on what branch your going into varies with rules on tattoos, the general rule is if it isn't offensive it isn't a problem. Depending on what on your record varies weither they take you in or not. Honesty is a must have key quality in the military.
