  • You look so calm!

  • getting mine taken care of on thursday..did anyone get ointment bcuz i did and it's making my eye hurt

  • Just got mine done. omg this shit hurts like fuck had two on one eye the last one hurt the most omg

  • Guys, I had just had mine done A week ago, It did not hurt at all but the injection, It felt like a couple ant bites on your eyes, but that's it, Take sum pain killers when you get home, Switch from evenly from hot to cold compresses, and it will be gone like mine (do more hot then cold) :D

  • I'm gunna go get mine removed in like 2 weeks.... How long did you have your chalazion til that surgery thing?

  • I got mine done and it was not painful..they used drops to numb the area first then they injected the local anesthetics so it didnt hurt!

  • @cristagalli123 Are you serious?... I wanna take mines out, had it over a year and maybe 5 months!! im sooo scared lol...sooo hopfully when i find out more info bout this.. ill be okay...

  • i got this off my eye 3 months ago nd it was very very very painful ! nd this is the first time i have ever said anything was painful .

  • is it the same thing as a sty? i got one right now and it hurts like a motherfucker >:( lol

  • Thanks shaky mcshakes for the video

  • I'm going to get one of these surgeries in probably two weeks on both eyes in the bottom eyelids and seeing this video makes me not want to get surgery!

  • @blackstardust18 when i got mines it really hurt they really didnt let the shot take time to numb up & when i complained about the pain the doctor said well we're almost done anyways )=

  • @mookiemisscutie684 Are you serious?! They put me to sleep, but maybe it was because I had two chalazions and they were going to do surgery on both.

  • The surgeon said don't put this on YouTube pshh whatever

  • is it painful ??

  • omg what the hell was he doing

  • i dont want it done now.... D: id rather live with it

  • Hi the surgery was fine no problems and the eye is back to normal.I only had bruising for afew days.

The injection is slightly painful but nothing to really worry about. The surgery only last 5-10 mins and once you have the injection you can't really feel anything.

Hope this helps or and I did go out Xmas eve.

  • Did you feel cutting moves? Pain while doing moves?

  • Can you tell me if it is swollen or badly bruised afterwards as I'm due to have surgery in the 23rd of dec which I know isn't ideal but want to go out the day after as it's Xmas eve. Thanks

  • @Maverick3117 How was your surgery?

  • Lucky. I had a persistent stye about two years ago so I went to get it lanced by a dermatologist. When I got there he told me he was gonna cut it from the outside of my eyelid, I asked him if it would leave a scar and he said no. Well, it did leave a small scar, and I fuckin' hate it. It's not too bad, everyone tells me I am the only one that even notices it. Still pisses me off though. Damn noob didn't even tell me he could have turned my eyelid inside out and clamped it. That pisses me off...

  • it looks like robbie williams :D

  • Omg Im 15 and I've touched and picked at my stye probably got it around early June and then i got a chalazion. I've been treating it and it got smaller, buht it's starting to hurt. It's not noticle, its inflamation and a bump on the inside. Should I get surgery? Or is it a cyst thats permanent..? Sorry, I worry alot ha xD

  • hello i had the surgery and was wondering did u have a lil black scare inside the under eyelid?

i had it near my pupil and i cant look down and it hurts a little and gets teary

    is this normal?

i had mine on both eyes

  • hi iam 14 nd i found a lup in my eye idk what it is but if its this and i might need surgery and iam not sleeping when there doing this then iam "Not'' doing this cuz i dont wanna feel the pain .. i hope w.e i have in my eye is not bad cuz i have not asked a doc =[.

  • I am suppose to have this done and do they numb your eye completely and is it painful?

  • i had 2 sugerys too

  • I didn't think it was painful at all. The injections were annoying like a bee sting but that's it. It was a little sore a few hours after the surgery but it wasn't too bad, i didn't even think about taking tylenol or anything. The next day it didn't hurt at all. 2 days later, I am able to press on it and I don't feel any pain at all.

  • simple question. how much did it cost u for the surgery?

  • @packernz Im not sure about $300

  • @daytontwinkster tnx man.. il think about it b4 il get my surgery. maybe there`s another way :D

  • im having mine removed 5 days before i go on holiday, will i still be able to enjoy myself and swim etc ?

  • No did u not see me talking during the surgery?? They don't risk someones life for a small procedure such as this.

  • Do they knock you out when they do this surgery? someone please reply

  • Only if its amnesthegia but mostly they do it while you are awake

  • @MagnMango No they dont youre awake, and i could actually feel the pain, maybe its not the same for everyone but for me it was like that.

  • @walrocks09 If you felt the pain, then it wasn't completely numb. They are suppose to poke every area to see if you feel pain... and if you did feel pain, they are suppose to give you more numbing meds. I didn't feel anything!!!

  • @MagnMango , No.

  • Mine's in the same place, upper left eye.

  • thanks for the reply, and the doctor said that the general anesthesia wouldnt be needed because it is a minor surgery and it can kill me or whatever? lol. do they only inject the eye once? or?

  • @brbrianan1 no they inject it enough times to get the whole thing numb but really the most painful part is the clamp, the needles dont really hurt at all. Last time he let the shots wear off before he did the surgery so it was very painful for me, you cant see it in the video but I am about to squeeze the nurses hand off, They can gas you for the proceedure Ive heard of it before but yah the doctor is right its not usually done that way. get something for pain cuz it hurts most the next 3 days

  • im having this done on april 13, im scared because the doctors gonna inject my eye with anastesia? did that hurt?! and what about during and afetr?! please reply. any scars?!??!?? and tell me about the injection please :(

  • @brbrianan1 well not your eye but your eye lid, it just feels like a pinch, no scarring but it does take several months to heal, make sure he gives you an antibiotic like doxycycline. If your insurance allows for it, opt for general anesthesia so you will sleep thru the procedure as it is quite uncomfortable. Best of luck!

  • Hi! Im 13 too and I just wanted to know: how did it go? Im having surgery done myself. Did it hurt?

  • @lindsaylol246 went great I havent had another one since! But this was my second time having it done on the same eye.

  • I had over 9 chalazions in my life. I finally found out ways to avoid them. first having faith that they will never come back.

. I wash my eyes with baby shampoo 3 times a day.

. I don't wear any eye makeup or powder on my face.

. I stay away from dusty places, I try wearing sunglasses when I' m outdoors.

. I sleep with lights and tv off.

. I avoid alcohol, milk, tomatoe sauce, spicey foods and fried foods, I try not to eat them too often. Somehow all these things really help.

  • @cow2843 Well if that works for you thats fine but I personally relate mine completely to stress. While I still use baby shampoo as a precaution I have never changed my diet, Ive always wore sunglasses.. and I obviously do not wear eye makeup. I guess its best to do whatever works for you. Best of luck.

  • Im so glad i live in England and we have the NHS to pay for this, im getting this done tomorow, does anyone know how long the procedure takes? and can i wear make-up on my eye lashes maybe the day after?

  • @Youandrus1 Right, well it takes about half an hour, and no you cant wear eye makeup for quite sometime and I would suggest disposing of the makeup you have and getting new and not using it at all until its healed or it will just come right back.

  • Okay thank you.

  • wtf? why is this a recommended video for me? i dont even want to know what is going on in this video

  • i didn't think it was that bad. the anesthetic stung for a few seconds but after that it was just annoying... lets face it having someone prod your eye is not on your list of things to do, but it was worth it. my eye looked a million times better after it was done. this is really not that big of a deal and nothing to be scared about.

  • whats the boiling egg thing ?? i have a Chalazion n im so scared to get a surgery

  • Thx for putting this on here. I am probably going to need to get this done. Dr. put me on drops and ointment but if still there in 3 weeks, slice :(

  • @goshygosh thats true, Im so glad they have gone away. Hope yours have as well!

  • if you get this done before the big bump develops you can avoid this 90 day stuff that the author is talking about... i got mine done during the early stages of it before you could even see anything. my bottom eyelid was just slightly swollen. only thing i have to do is take it easy on my left eye and apply a steroid cream twice a day for four days. it is not painful at all, only mildly uncomfortable.

  • @goshygosh lol, the surgery is painful, Ive been through it twice, and only feels worse the days after. I was on erythromycin antibiotics before the surgery, when the bump is on the upper lid we can talk more about whether its just uncomfortable, it scratches the cornea every-time you blink!

  • it's going to be different for other people. i have pretty high pain tolerance so i guess i probably shouldn't be speaking for everyone when i say it's not painful. also, i was lucky and only had two little ones in my lower lid. i imagine on the upper lid they'd be much more painful. anyway, i'm glad to see that you're staying chalazion free! :)

  • im scared. scared to DEATH. you should have done the boiled egg thingy.

  • i had 2 surgery's already in the same dayy and it didnt hurt u just fell pressure

  • i have to get 1 too !! :(:(

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • omg i want mine removed but it looks nasty so i dont really know now

  • omfg .. its my 1st time having chalazion .. and its embarrassing .. its doesnt hurt but sometimes itchy .. im 13 and i dnt wanna go under surgery... is amoxicicilin ok or hemox anti biotic? i put anti bacterial ointments and hot compress .. its been likea week ..and still the same

  • hehehehe, u will get them off, dont worry =D

well i didnt know abt the abx (doxy), i know it kills bacteria, but never knew it has some effect on body. maybe ill ask my doc abt it, it might help me.

and thanx 4 sharing ur surgery, wait to see mine =D

im not sure abt the egg =D, dont u think it TOO hot? i mean u dont wanna cook ur eye =D,, point: just be careful with that =)

  • theyve been gone for a very long time now. Thankfully. I also think Ambien causes them, thats just my experience.

  • 90 days for the doxy and yes it was puite painful ugly and swollen. Just depends on how big it is I guess.

  • and this doxycycline does it really work?and is it good u know?im just doin the operation on the chalazione cuzz thiss the only way to work this out and when i get to sleep i putt a hot egg on my eye am i doin it right then?and i dont care if it tooks 6 months to heal cuzz alli wanna is to take this chalazion off my eyes damnnn:S

  • just go to the doctor and get it removed and have them bill you, it was like 330 dollars or something, it wasnt very expensive, and included and eye exam before and after.

  • I never had to use a steroid. I used a antibiotic after my surgery called doxycycline, it changes the chemical make up the body, Ive not had onc since I finished my antibiotics almost a year agao now

  • but i have the chalazion for like 7 months maybe:S, and i just wnat to take this chalazion off forever u know:s,i never had chalazion befor and tomorow im goin to the doctor toloookhow my eyes are now,but i have this chalazion still just smaller and how long it will take to take all the chalazion off?

  • antibiotics used after surgery for like 3 days, just to make sure u dont get infected after the cut. u dont need it for uncut chalazion.

  • yah do not touch it, wash your eyes with baby shampoo with 40 strokes on the eye, and use oral antibiotics such as Doxycycline, the topical antibiotic did not work for me.

  • well, it seems that ur a chalazion guy, just like me =D, So u have to take care of ur eyes.

u know chalazion happen because oil pores get blocked, so u need to take care by doing eye massage, hot compresses and baby shampoo wash. this will let u hav less chalazions after u remove what u got now... massage and heat will make oil more liquid and get easily drained.

  • That and taking anything with an antihistamine is a bad idea, so is anything like ambien, for some reason I took a lunesta one day woke up the next with a chalazion, so I didnt take another one till it healed, sure enough, took another and had another recurrence. Funny how that works.

  • yeah u probably hav scars,

and abt the steroid injection, im not sure what type, but the ophthalmologist absolutely will know what r u talking abt when u tell him that u still hav remaining parts of the chalazion after ur surgical removal and u what steroid injections. ( its a slowly released steroids, thats why it takes time to fade away) but its only little brights spots, better than hav chalazion parts left behind =D

and yeah, feel free to ask =)

  • No steroid injections here, just the surgery, and an oral antibiotic such as Doxycylcine. its a bit uncomfortable to take since it hurts the tummy. However it has made it so I do not get them anymore..Im glad to have rid of it, my doctor says its more stress related than anything and the antibiotic changes the chemical makeup of the fat, Hot compresses can help but for me it did not. Cleaning the eyes with 40 strokes of baby shampoo keeps it feeling good and I haven't had a recurrence since.

  • For how many days after the surgery did u take the antibiotic?nd wats the store name for it..

  • The steroid injection took about 2 days to work. I read that too much alcohol can trigger eyelids to produce oil that clogs eyelids and cause chalazions. I also learned that sleeping with all lights off and tv off at night helps avoid activity in the eyelids that can trigger chalazions. When I wash my eyes with baby shampoo I usually use warm water.

  • yeahh u know i have in chalazion in the uper und lower ill in two eyes u know:S, and i hade operation 3 times for every week one chaalazion, and im using someanthibiotic, and the warm thing that u sad does it really help?and how long will it take to get it off all the chalazion??:S:S:S:

  • Make sure he or she puts you on an oral antibiotic like doxycycline keep washing that eye with baby shampoo and keep your hands clean. It will take 6 months after surgery for all signs of the chalazion to go away.

  • so the mroelonger that u have this cholezion the more hared is it to get it away?am i right or?

  • hi bjking, thats true, the longer u hav it the more difficult to get rid of it. cuz at first its only some sort of oily collection that gets inflamed, then ur body start to make it familiar to u by building up tissue and scars all around. so my advice is to get it removed immediately after 2 weeks of using non-surgical ways, like warm compresses many time a day, ( i do while im in bed just before i sleep)..

  • Thats right, if you dont start putting hot compresses on it right away and washing that eye lid out with baby shampoo immediately then you will eventually need surgery. If it goes away, the longer you wait for surgery the worse they get. make sure your doctor gives you an oral antibiotic such as doxycycline.

  • Well ive never had one on a lower lid only2 on my upper left it took about a year post opp for them to subside

  • i year for the upper one?damn! how many months after u hot it did u get it operated?bcoz mine was 4 months old by the time of surgery and if its 1 yr for the upper lid itself i guess it wil take longer for the lower..dats surely depressing news..

  • i got a stye in july due to sleep deprivation..but i didnt take it seriously and didnt get enough sleep..so it went on and suddenly after 3 months when i had to spend 3 sleepless nights on a big assignement,it became more hard and turned into a chalazion..one in the upper and another in the lower lid..had it 'removed' last week..but now the doc says dat the thickening of the lower lid might remain forever..someone PLEASE tell me whether the scars remain forever..wil sleep better knowing it..

  • hi srivastan, im not sure if u did it with a cut inside ur lid or outside, (they go for outside for refractory cases where they cant reach chalazion from inside), but what i know is; if u let ur chalazion for long time (for like 6 months) , they start to get fibrosed and wont get removed easily. in these cases they remove the whole fibrosed part and use local steroid injections at the same time to prevent it from coming back. i hope that answered ur Q. G luck

  • hi aysha, thnx for the reply..the surgery was done from the inside of the lid for both the upper and lower ones..it was 4 months by the time the operation was performed..

  • well i had mine removed from inside, it was small but i went to the doc after "8" MONTHS!. after i had the surgery, some of it still not removed. so i got back to the doc and had other operation, removed scar tissue and gave me steroid injections, it gets stored in ur tissue and slowly releases steroids so it appears like white spot over the lid from outside, takes around 4 months to go) , steroids prevent scars from growing. so if the thickening bothers u, ask ur doc abt steroids. Gluck =)

  • dat was very useful..thnx again:)

  • Sorry but what kind of steroids du i have to use?to stop growing up the scar?cuzz i have calazion in two eyes in the uper and lower ill:S,and i had operation but it want go away the chalazion???im scared maybe the will stay forever :( :( plss someone hellp mee!!!

  • Hey its me again:(...wel its 4 months now and the scar on the lower lid was still thr,so had steroid injection yes'day..but he warned me abt the possibility of skin pigmentation(chances r of 1 in 1000according 2 him)..tel me abt the 'white spots'..do u still hv them??did u hv them in the lower lid?bcoz i assume it wil b more visible in lower than upper lid...also was the scar COMPLETELY removed?thnx again!!

  • @srivatsan1985 After surgery I still had the scar that looked like a chalazion was still there. I went back to the Dr. and got the scar cut down more plus a steroid injection. Three month went by when I noticed a small bump again. I went back to the Dr. and this time she only gave me the steroid injection which worked very well, and there was no white spot on my eyelid.

  • @srivatsan1985 Its been 3 month now after I had the steroid injection, and I don't have any white spot on my eyelid. I wash my eyelids 3 times a day with baby shampoo. I heard its good to avoid certain foods like, alcohol, milk, hotdogs and tomatoe sauce, and fried foods. I know that having a chalazion can make anyone feel devastated. I pray that you will never have one again.

  • @cow2843, thnx for the reply!!its gud to hear dat steroids hv a gud effect...do u rem how much long after steroid injection did it take to heal?also, abt the bay shampoo thing, does it have to be done with hot water?i used to do so before the steroid shot but now the doc says no neeed for hot compress...and more important is the alcohol thing serious?!!didnt know dat alcohol had ny effect on the dryness of the eye! thnz in advance!

  • @srivatsan1985 I had steroid injection in my upper lid, its been 3 month now and, I have no pigmentation problem..

  • how long did u had the choolezion??and it takeed 4 months to go away?really

  • yah i had it for 2 months, got it removed, then it took 4-6 months to heal, with me removing a daily scab but now its gone and you wouldnt even know ive ever had it now.

  • I hope he puy you on a round of doxycycline and told you to wash your eyes three times a day with baby shampoo, with 40 strokes on each eye? If not I just did. As far as the scar goes, Mederma is the only thing I know of that is affective on on smoothing out scars, however I dont know how it will react if it were to get in the eye. So dont take my word for stone. Maybe give it a try if it stings was the eye out with baby shampoo and take the mederma back since its so expensive.

  • I dont know about your explanation, its very informative but it seems a little scary. I just had the operation done today, the second time i've had one removed. The doctor gave me drops which numbed my eye, used a syringe to numb it yet again(just a small pinch) and after the clamp was put on my eye(which did hurt the most but not too much) there was just small amounts of pressure while using the swab and what not. definitely not too bad and an easy procedure to get through.

  • I had one but beneath my eye. Now I have one again.. they didn't put me to sleep though.

  • The chalazion, got to be under surgery as soon as possible. The growth disturbes the health tissue and glands surround it. And of course need to create an area sterile as possible to perform it. There is a need to send the product of that to a pathologist study to discard other diseases.

  • i hope someone here can help me. Ive been trying to find how much it costs to get a chlazion eye surgery. I cant find anything online about the price, so if anyone here knows about how much it costs could you please reply to this? I currently dont have halth insurance so if you could tell me the price of it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance

  • first time it was around 300 all together, this last time it wasn't as much, like 138, but I didn't do the follow up apt it isn't necessary

  • Wow that's a good price where did you get the surgery and do you have the doctors name??

  • I've had some sort of lump in my eyelid for about 2,5 years... I don't know if it is a chalazion... Was the entire inside of your eyelid red when you had a chalazion?

  • BE VERY Thankful they are putting you to sleep, and was your eyes with baby shampoo and keep using a hot compress. There are lots of things doctors dont tell you, like you should ask if he should put you on an oral antibiotic like doxycycline, I feel that because he did not put me on that, that mine came back. Oh and the erythromycin doesnt work just makes your eyes blurry.

  • I know this is going to sound stupid, but how exactly can you/do you wash your eyes with baby shampoo? Getting this surgery done next week, thanks for the tips !

  • I would say put some on your hands in the shower, close your eyes and rub each lid with each1 of your 4 fingers individually 10 times each so you get 40 rubs out of it, its called the 4 times 10 technique. I would insist the doc give me Doxycycline after the surgery as well for less recurrence, After taking the doxy for 90 days ive not had another after this 2nd removal.

  • im getting mine removed in a few days, but theyre putting me to sleep. idk the deal, but im 13 and pretty glad.

  • im 13 too .. and its very embarrassing..

  • I have had 1 for two weeks. i think i got it from vaseline getting in my eye. Its hurts and can feel the pain in my throat. i have been given eye cream CHLORAMPHENICOL to use twice a day. When should iexpect to see it go away. It looks awful. ty

  • If its a chalazion its not going to go away without surgery, sorry.

  • Mañana va a ser la 5º operacion de Chalazion para mi, espero q salga bien como las otras.

    Saludos!!!

  • is chalazion and sty the same

  • No. I don't remember the specific details but I think sty has something to do with a teargland or something but I'm positive they're different.

  • No, they are not.

  • arghhhh i have a stye that won't go away!! i hate it!

  • ahhh

how do you get these....my stomach feels awful when i watch this.

  • Poor eyelid hygeine. I heard that the surgery doesnt really hurt that bad though.

  • Actually, a chalazion doesn't form due to bad hygeine. They form because oil accumulate in the eyelids.

I've had one and had to get surgery. The surgery itself doesn't hurt because of the numbing medication, but the injection of the numbing medicine hurts REEEEAAAALLLLYYYY bad!

  • I thought I had one but it turned out to be a pimple lol the doctor just popped it, so basically I paid 15 dollars to get a pimple popped, even he said it looked like 1 though.

  • i have them on one eye and they are coming more frequently now and not going away... how bad was the surgery and recovery?

  • Surgery is terrifying since you are awake and this time the anesthesia wore off so I felt much of it. You can use your eye again pretty much immediately it just looks scary for a bit, the healing took 6 months for it to become completely invisible. Try washing your eye thoroughly with baby shampoo and using a hot compresses on it frequently, it may go away on its own. He also put me on 120 days of doxycycline after the surgery ive not had one since!.

  • I have my second Chalazion right now. Mine spread to both eyes and I remember the agony of the first operation. All you can do is grit your teeth, grab the table and just endure. Afterward I had to drive home and thought I was going to pass out.

  • I just had this done today, I have a huge patch over my eye right now...the doctor was awesome. I'm not in any pain and I'm so happy the thing is gone. I had it since November- tried the compresses and everything!

  • i think i have one chalazion in my left eye, because i feel uncomfortable when i oopen and close my eye

    help´!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuck man i know ur pain i just got mine 2nd one today too

  • I have got one but im so scared, i dont want to go through that process, it just doesnt seem to go away. I have had it for months and even antibiotics dont work. Please help me someone, i dont want to have surgery..

  • antibiotics unfortunately arent going to work, but surgery will work, its the only thing thats going to work. Its painful so if your insurance will cover it, opt to be put under for the proceeducure its easier on the doctor and on you. , Hope this helps.

  • omg i have a bump on eyelid and i dont want to get this surgery!!! and im 12!!!! f-ing ahole!!!

  • excuse me did you call me an ahole?

  • no wth

  • good cuz it aint my fault, you need to use baby shampoo and hot compresses on your eye you may not need surgery if it goes away from doing that.

  • i did my own using a webcam.

  • is that online?

  • lol, no im joking.

  • i just got this done on wed .

the only uncomfortable thing for me was the needle right before he flipped my eye lid .

it was weird feeling him tugging on my lid from cleaning it out, but it wasn't painful because my lid was numb .

and there was little pain after . just a lot of swelling . now my eye lid is just a little swollen and red, but thats it.

  • OMG bro i got one 4 like a month in a half i want to get it removed but scared.....did it hurt really really bad?????

  • Why are some people so prone to chalazions. I just got my second one and I want to cry. And my doc won;t do the surgery because he said it can damage your glands

  • I'm getting one removed Monday and am completely scared out of my mind.

  • ugh, i had to get this. i was 12, but they numbed me up like crazy so it wasn't very bad. the only uncomfortable part, for me, was when they twirled that stick around in my eye.

it was terrible, because the lump burst open on the top of my eyelid, so it was all bloody. sickkkening.

  • i have one. i need to get removed on my upper eye lid.

one question i was want answered is.. Where do they poke the needle at? on the eye lid where the lump is?

and how deep do they stick it in if its only on the eye lid.. cuz its not exactly a big chunk of meat, its only a thin layer.

    thnx ^.^

  • hi ive gotta have mine removed in aobut a month! how come it was so painful if they gave you a local anaesthetic?

and how long roughly did it last?

    thanks x

  • im really scared i have two on my upper lid and two on my lower lid so theres four of them

    can they put you under

  • from what I understand they can put you under. Ive had it done twice this time really hurt but last time didnt. Having 4 they may just do that anyway.

  • I just had mine removed and it is absolutely painless! Probably the most annoying part for me was just the eye drops he put in before the surgery, but that's it!

  • i had tree removed today! in the same eyee!! its hurting right now but the procedure was completely painless

  • ahhhh i'm getting surgery on the 12th

  • so how much it cost to remove it because i have one for 18 month but i have no insurance

  • $180

  • for removed it just $180 , nothing else , have one y my eyes

  • i had a general anesthetic when i had surgery to remove a chalazion...so i was completely out for it haha

  • Awesome I wasnt given that choice or I would have taken it, he was reluctant to give me tylenol 3's.

  • soo how much it cost to remove it because i have one

  • $180

  • Its great to see this video because, I can actually see how the procedure is done. I had chalazions removed in the past, and now I actually see how is done, its great!

  • As soon as you notice a chalazion, is best to go to the doctor to confirm it is one and start treatment. I had one removed two weeks ago and it didn't go away. I did notice the DR. worked on it to quick, so I had the entire chalazion still inside. I went back to the Dr. and this time he game me a steroid injection in the inside of the eyelid. It was not really painful just uncomfortable to have eyelid clamp holding the eyelid back.

  • Were the steroids successful?can u give me the following ...were steroids used after the initial surgery(like in my case, after 3 months of the surgery).Hw much long for the scar to vanish?my doc warned me of skin pigmentation bcoz of steroids...did u hv any??THANX in advance!!

  • Holy shit, I have one of those, it doesn't hurt anymore but I have had it for two months, should i go to the doctor?

  • Had a chalazion removed out of my eye today, the most painful part for me was the injection on the eye lid, put the rest was painless, had a very good Dr. I had 8 chalazions in the past, and realized that removing it from the lower lid was more painful then from the upper lid. To prevent chalazions, is best never to wear eye makeup, wash your eyes daily with baby shampoo, then wipe dry with a cotton, take omega 3 vitamins daily, and stay away from dusty places.

  • I've had 4 chalazions in the past couple years. Luckily, only one had to be removed surgically. My advice to anyone with them is to nip it in the bud before it gets too far along. The surgery was VERY painful. I was gripping the table so hard that I thought I was gonna break it, lol.

  • yah the anistetic wore off quickly, i was holding onto the nurses hand for dear life, my first surgery was'nt as bad i didnt really feel it at all.

  • im getting a surgery to get mine done because compresses wont help its kinda pig and UNDER my leye lid on the bottom eyelid, not the top! right uner my eye and its under the skin

  • I just had the same procedure on thursday. Thankfully I was under sedation and felt nothing. I was weird though, waking up at the end of the procedure while the Dr was still working on it. There was smoke (or steam) coming from whatever instrument she was using and then the "q-tip" wiping my eye. Kinda cool actually.

  • I have to get the surgery done on my upper right eyelid. I was wondering do you loose your eyelashes or have any kind of scars from it.

  • you can have redness forever. actually.
