This might be a silly question, but can you save games on the Hyperkin Retron 3, or can you use SNES/NES/Genesis memory cards in the system to save your games? I'm a UK gamer, and I am considering buying this. Can you please tell me? It would be a great help! Thank you! Max.

@waxpacksyko It comes with it's own controllers, but it has 2 ports for each of the three systems, so it accepts the original controllers, and presumably 3rd party controllers that were compatible with the original systems.

Ever heard of an Emulator braw? I play my old PS2 games on PCSX2 all the time. I also use Dolphin, Project 64, FCEUX, ePCSX, and a few others.

@ralphy329 Does your FC3 allow the use of the original controllers? The Retron 3 includes 2 ports each for NES, SNES, and Genesis controllers. That's one of the main reasons I love it so much. You don't have to use the lousy controllers included with the system.

@ralphy329 I'm a bit of a purist, so playing with the original controllers is a must for me. I'm using this thing primarily as an SNES, which it does flawlessly. It also plays Super Famicom games natively. YEAH BOYEE.

@MoonIMover I know. I also have the original arcade Contra on my XBOX360, but I couldn't show it for obvious reasons. Yet another reason why downloadable games just don't quite cut it. There's just something about the tangibility of a game cartridge or disc.
