Like Michael, Stevie, (my favorite artists) with Geroge Clinton and Parliament, they have so many cuts, its pretty much impossible to choose a favorite. I could rattle off 10 or 15 cuts off the top of my head, (chart topping hits). But THE MOTOR BOOTY AFFAIR is my favorite cut. Thanks for posting it. Oh..those who mentioned the bassline, RIGHT ON

@lookingoutpfunk ....Amen Brother, there could NEVER be another! The memories hit like a veritable flood! This is what shaped my generation, and EVERY ONE SINCE, it one way or another (*limitless samples from rap?)
AHHHHHHHHHHHH! That's REAL music! <3 No bitches, no threatening to shoot someone, no complaining about your job or your mama or your kids...just having fun and dancing!
I was born in 1979 and i luv this song. I went to my first Parleiment concert at the apollo when i was 1 and now i'm 31, but i never forgot about the Funk!!!!
Man, I'm close to tears! Great memories of jamming this one with my pals in the studio circa 1994. Big funk revival back then. Love it. Thanks for posting!
I wish artists nowadays were making music like this!.........i'm 27 and have been fascinated by Parliament-Funkadelic since I was in the passenger seat of my parents' car as a kid....love this music! It always makes you want to get out of your seat...and you can't help but to dance a groove to this....i'd much rather be mellowing out to this while buzzing in a club
all i can say is take your medicine now,,, lol ,,, because your gonna be ill ,, when your find out the real story on d,o,p,e ,,,,,lol kirk out ,,,,,QQ

Kinfolk Thanks for the Postup Job!!!!!!!!! I`m 48 yrs. and I will be PARLIAMENT til I DIE......FORREALS!!!
this Old Head original funk-kid (October 1978) HAS the original "Aqua Boogie" 45 Single Picture Jacket (it was a very rare edition, so when we saw a copy of the single in that jacket, we GRABBED it!!). It was an Overton Lloyd painting of George Clinton riding two She-Dolphins, with HUGE "Pectoral Fins"--hint, hint!! The picture jacket for Aqua Boogie MIGHT be able to be Googled. That, plus the original album, made my adolescence (I was only 15!!!).
watersking on dolphins with the BOX to the left is super-subliminal in someway..even if it dont mean a got damn thang..it sho is funky...i miss that wild sence of humor..they brung to the industry...
wow..havent seen the back of this album in a long time.. when i was a child i used to stare at this pic all the time..and the funkadelic albums were trippy. love it
This is one of my favorite songs from this album, this takes me back hearing this, back to when I was just beginning to learn my way, good memories, great 70's funk!!
