This is from the first season episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before," the only episode that does not feature Kirk's prologue (space, the final frontier, etc.)

I think the remastered Star Trek episodes are cool but I am a purist and prefer the originals! I think Gene Roddenberry would be proud of his vision of the future how it's endured this long.
