Don't you get some funny effects by having the input of multiple amplifiers connected. Maybe this is negligible since the pre stage on the amp is driven by voltage an not current. You could also set up a single amp and reamp it multiple times, of course you don't get the instant gratification at the helm.

DUH...tracking three amps - or twenty for that matter with one guitar pass is NOT the same as double tracking. Totally different sound.
