I had a jackdaw when i was little, her name was karro (my nickname, jackdaw is kaja in swedish) and she learned her name and some "hi" "hello" words. no one belived me. "a crow can´t speak" they always told me.

jackdaw and raven is not the same species, but they are like cousins in the crow-family.

crow birds are even better than parrots when it comes to voice,

like the indian grackle the are specialists on sounds.
