Looks like a great product for cruisers. 3 things. 1 - Learn how to spell "recipe". 2 - Nobody cares how many bikes are in your shop. 3 - Puncture damage is more than just about leaks. Sharp objects also damage the cords, body and tread. During cornering, as the tire heats up, this internal damage can cause de-lamination, bulges, structural failure and a loss of control.
On a car, a failure can be an inconvenience, but on a bike, it can mean the difference between life and death.
I'd like to see someone take a bike with this stuff in the tire, run over some spikes and then do a track day.... if it works there, I'd be sold on it
it's not a matter of having a usable tire even if you poke a hole in it, it's a matter of it can save your life if you get a flat. If your front tire suddenly deflates because of a nail or something, your stability is compromised and you could crash, this system gives you the opportunity to ride safer. even with those tires, the structure and integrity of the tire is compromised and I would change them as soon as I have a change due to a blow out risk...
Thanks. The price is a fraction of the tire's cost and if you are looking for safety, noise reduction, maintaining air pressure, saving time and most importantly saving your life i highly recommend it. According to Michelin statistics, there are around 23 000 accidents each year in the US due to punctures. Around 500 people lose their lives each year (in the US) as a result of such accidents. We treat both - old and new tires. Once you have it, you will love it.
How much????

But my questions still stand...
1. How is the handling after treatment? For example, a tire changes form at max lean angle. Definnetly at higher speeds.
2. And what are the costs for one tire? Like I said I wear a PilotPower in 5000km down.
The idea is still good, but as long as these questions are not answered I'm not convinced.

what with the spikes that police uses to stop criminals :d
antwerptillidie1 3 years ago
That might not work because spike strips are also designed to puncture your rims...

i guess the tire fabricators will not be happy with this 'never gets flat tires'

Tough luck for them! :-)
Depends, perhaps the costs are so high.. it's not usefull on a racer. I wear a Pilot Power in 5000-6000km's down.

Looks great... only thing I would like to know is how they handle with your treatment. If they still give the same feedback at max lean angle...
