  • trustfully.......i also felt like i was sitting in the plane......great video indeed..thank u

  • I believe this is a very short haul flight, thus there is no tv- based on the announcement given by the stewardess, i was the pilot for your flight!!!

  • I took biz class b4. service is VERY VERY different fr econ.

  • i guess this is the reason why planes actually crash

  • Why do flight attendent appearence have to matter? They're just waitresses. Do you discriminate if you were to go to a fancy restaurant? Kinda lame. Just as long as they do their job well, why would their appearance matter? Kinda shallow isn't it?

  • @earthstar I guess cause they represent the country the plane is from?

  • was therww television on the plane?

  • @123chunhou yup, this is business class, where the tv is pulled out from the side of the seats

  • @stopsquare the lowest class ones also hav tv

  • @iNightzxc yup yup i know i know. have been taking SIA since kid :D

  • hey why aren't there those little television screens on the back of the seats,

or have they upgraded to the screens coming up from the side? just wondering

  • why no gaming screen?

  • Which flight is this? At time index 0:30, I can hear flight SQ61?? to ?

Btw, you can "meet" SQ girls if you know the right people :)

  • @dagrindsman SQ 618 to Osaka.

  • singapore airline dont hire ugly stewardess ...it should be pretty and beautiful..is that fair?

  • @slazzer145 its for SIA reputation dear... fair or nt..like it or not...stewardess are like models on a runway. Do u like to see ugly models on a fashion show? Will u buy d clothes dat d ugly models are wearing and trying to sell? Dunoe bout u...bt i definitely wont. Same goes to SIA customers. While models parade designers' clothes, SIA stewardess "parade" SQ logo. If they are beautiful, so is SQ.

  • @canuckete At the end you can hear her very faintly in the background, asking him to turn off the camera.

  • There is an own screen for every passenger in this aircraft.

Listen at 0:37. The Krisworld is available after take off. That's business class and in business class the own screen isn't at the seat in front of you like in economy class.

  • @Chakvetadze08 ever it is a old video or most likely the screen is in the armrests

  • shame no tv seat thingy

  • I think that's bcos its a short distance flight so there's non

  • @sabby123456789

no the tv are inside the seats hahaaha come on men!!!! sia no ptv???!!!!!! no it cant be ahahahha all sia fleets have ptv ehehehe

  • Comment removed

  • are you in business class?cool.

  • omg i came back from maccau alrdy and seriously tiger airways is like CRAP.

singapore airlines = AWESOME!!!! ROCK ON SQ!!!!!!!!!!

  • WHY NO TV ON THE SEATS?

  • The TVs are the in-armrest version.

  • Look. The Japanese FA is smiling at you!

  • because it only occurs on long distance flights

  • @ch3rylg0h this is biz class, so its between the arm rest , the arm rest is bigger, than normal

  • @ch3rylg0h because the screen is tucked away in the armrest

  • @ch3rylg0h they fold out of the arm rest

  • @ch3rylg0h if i'm correct it's business class..so the tv is from the arm rest..

  • @ch3rylg0h

    In the armrest.

  • @ch3rylg0h at the below dumbass.

  • @ch3rylg0h

    Yeah man! (o_O?)

  • @ch3rylg0h there are retractable screens located inside the armrest area. You can only take it out when the plane is in the air.

  • @ch3rylg0h it may be a short flight

  • yay its gona be liketha for me tomorro

  • My least favorite J product of SQ. And sometimes, they assign this on Australian routes. Not good.

  • Excuse me. . .Turn off the video. LOL

  • great vid mate. just gives me that feeling of actually being there. cheers mate. i love flying and singapore is the way to go

  • thanks for this video...it s good too know how it looks like inside a Singapor Airline...I never flew yet but maybe next time...

  • This is considered old , wait till you fly in the new business class.

  • Hello!Nice inflight video!=)

    Give you 5 star!=)

    Greeting TheCARRE74=)

  • I kind of agree with you, they do cake it on.

  • this video was taken long long ago

All SIA aircraft are fitted with KrisWorld Personal Entertainment system

  • What are you talking about? Your clearly know nothing about SIA. THE PTV are stowed between the arm rest. THIS IS A REGIONAL aircraft.....

  • Comment removed

  • don't know what your definition of Regional is.

when i see this video, i wonder why SIA's entertainment system is so Backward by today's standard.

if you claim to know as much about the airline, then post something specific like its a Boeing 777-200. Video taken on xxxxxx when the Cabin Crew were still wearing the old uniform.

and the use of word 'Regional' gives people the impression that SIA is flying A320 like the LCC

  • Regional means that the Aircraft is used on SHORT haul flights for ex, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and some parts of Aussie. So the Regional product is completely different from the Long Haul product. This aircraft is a 777-200 not ER, hence it is used on mainly short hops. All of these old 777 with the out dated regional product will soon leave SIA'S fleet and replaced by the A330's with the new regional Business class seats.

  • The new Regional Business class on SIA is considered as being a regular business class product on other airlines offering a lie flat seat, 15 inch PTV and upholstered with leather. These new Regional Business class is offered on the A330's and B 777-300. SIA's Long haul Business class product (Diamond seat) offers a 1x2x1 config with a 32 inch seat and a 17 inch ptv . The new J seat can be found on the A380's, 777-300ER and A345's.

  • is it right to say that the 777-200 is NOT able to reach some parts of Europe? and is restricted to 'Regional' ???

  • Yes! Why would SIA operate a 777-200 with regional product on a long haul route like between Sin-Manchester?

  • And i am confused with your comment about "Crew wearing old uniform"...............The sarong kebaya is SQ's current uniform and has been for 60 years. There is no New Uniform for the SQ girls, only the SQ boys. Any more questions about my Airline?

  • if you stop staring at the ladies, u will see a STEWARD walking in the background.

and even though there is no major change in the kebaya, you would have known that there is a recent 'facelift' to the kebaya right?

  • OK then you need to be more clear in your statements. The only thing that was changed with the kebaya is the color for the CSS and IFS. The steward received a new suits and their rank coincides with the color of their tie. Anything else?

  • It`s a regional business class? For asia`s flights?

  • no tv? what flight was that?

  • xxquiker...unless you prove it.

  • This coming from some one who said "Don't be such sensitive!"..........Its "Dont be so senitive". Word of advice kid, if your going to bash me, or put me on the spot. atleast make sure you, yourself does not sound like an idiot. Damn hypocrite

  • if this is true, then how come it didnt say in its own website? we all know how sq brags about things they did first, they wouldnt hv left out such an important information esp the PTVs. go to the website n chk.

  • believe what you want to believe. Im not here to change opinions, i just state the facts.

  • Comment removed

  • xxquiker......i do not agree with you on this. SQ wasnt the 1st airline to offer PTVs. it is Emirates. How do I know? Well, simple. SQ advertises everything it does first, but not the PTVs.

  • That is a misconception, SIA was the first airline to offer PTV'S and AVOD across all cabins. Go airliners net it. and i hope you are not getting your info from wikipedia.

  • If memories serves me correct and according to SQ TALK as well, the first PTV'S were introduced in October 1991 on the 9V-SPD megatop. The trial version of Krisworld was also conducted in that year.

  • KATISHAVN2. you are talking about a Global Premier legacy airline of the world, WHY WOULD THEY NOT HAVE PTV''S? and did you know that SIA was the first airline in the world to offer PTV'S?

  • singapore airlines still rules the sky eventhough how shitty their seats are. thats the fact.

  • hey the old regional business class is still better then CX's and MH's.

  • there r individual screens as welll dear

  • The sooner that the shitty regional business class cabins are all updated, the better!

  • this is the old busieneess class regional the new ones on the a330 are arsome i took it

  • 1:43 the flight attendant noticed again for second time

  • 1:27 flight attendant already started looking around already..

  • at 1:28... did she like notice you were recording a video or something? lol she looked pretty cute.

  • @vaccine23 she's my girlfriend i work at sq as a pilot with 480 flying hours thanks for saying cute to her and she's a kind person

  • @ATEPAWSK ok cool, which a/c do you fly on? who was the head of training during your time at SFC?

  • @vaccine23 no i was trained at philippine airlines so they did not give a training offer but i was under probation for 1 year before they really accept me in the airlines i just switched in SQ beacause my contract in PR is already finished that's why they offer another airlines to me and i chose SQ i am flying a 777-200er or 300er and a330

  • @ATEPAWSK So you're retaining currency on the 772er, 773er and a330? Which a/c were you flying in PR?

  • @vaccine23 yup,a330,a340 and 747

  • @ATEPAWSK SQ never have had pilots that hold multi fleet currencies at anyone point in time. What a crock o shiet.

  • @vaccine23 i know but pr not they let me fly multiple fleets

did i say that i am flying multiple fleet in sq? and im only retaining currency on the 777 in sq :0

  • @ATEPAWSK "i am flying a 777-200er or 300er and a330 " smells like a load of crap to me... Flying a 772er, 773er and an a330? yea right...

  • @vaccine23 in pr did i say in sq?

  • @ATEPAWSK yea right mate, PR don't have pilots with multiple valid currencies... get your facts right before you come on YouTube to pose as someone, seeya around SQ FCC, if you're even a genuine pilot that is.

  • @vaccine23 are a filipino pilot or what or just dreaming beacause you can't reach it

  • @vaccine23 and dont make me a liar mate ok i am a liscenced PILOT your just a dreaming pilot

  • @ATEPAWSK whatever you say boy, as I've mentioned, i'll see you around SQ FCC. i asked for your current valid currencies and you threw me the list of a/c in SQ's fleet... You probably did not understand CURRENT and VALID put together in the same sentence.

  • @vaccine23 fine fine fine we'll see

  • @ATEPAWSK I am very curious too about your credentials. Can i just you a very simple question, do you have separate currencies for 777-200,777-200ER,777-300 and 777-300ER?

  • @flyboy744 yes but im only assigned in 777-200

  • @vaccine23 why can't u reply back

i am not boasting or what but i am a LICENSED PILOT SO PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME A LIAR OK WITH 480 FLYING HOURS

AND A FINISHED BSA IN PATTS

AND I WAS TRAINED IN PAL FLYING SCHOOL

AND GRADUATED WITH 250 FLYING HOURS OK SO DONT INSULT ME I FINISHED EVERYTHING

  • @vaccine23 pr: 777-300er , a330 , a340 and 747

    sq: 777 -200

  • Oh and another face Singapore is one of the smallest countries on earth, however they have one of the worlds largest airlines! That is something that just amazed me.

  • Look at this video of the Singapore Airlines Stewardesses. Look at Cathay Pacific, Air Asia, Air China.

Then look at the 'Flight Attendants' on any US Domestic flight.

Then look at marriage rates, and listen to single women complain that "All the good men are taken."

No, dearie. The good men wised up, got smart, saved their money and moved to S.E. Asia where the median weight is 100 lbs - 1/2 what most American Women weigh.

  • hey men why did the stewardess did not scold at the pasenger i tought cellphone is not allowed but if the cellphone is in offline mode is it ok?????/

  • I couldn't agree more! I married a S.E asianer and I couldn't be happier!

  • @leeraconteur good one

  • @leeraconteur hahahahahahahahaha...................oh my God, that was the funniest and yet, the Bible truth.

  • @leeraconteur Why don't you move there and try to marry one of these, then report back. You might be surprised.

  • what was that fight attendant looking at?

  • Whatever their nationality ,they provide the best service for the best airline.

  • They do work hard to make your flight pleasent.

  • Can one ever go wrong choosing Singapore Airlines? Even a non-fan hoping to find fault will admit the task is a difficult one. The consistency with which service is dispensed, the quality of the offerings, and the seemingly perfect down to her symmetrical smile Singapore girl are some of the reasons why so many travelers choose to fly nothing else but Singapore Airlines

  • i love their kebaya...

  • that sec FA is cute and does anyone know her number lolk

  • I love Singapore Airlines! The best airline I have flown!

  • WOOOOOOOW! Shit, Lufthansa are you watching this? Learn from the singapore girls in how to provide this form of great service.

  • lufthansa have some damn ugly flight attendants. the female looks like men

  • cool never knew there were japanese flight attendants on singapore airlines. THAT IS SOOOO AWESOME MAN YOU SHOULD BE LUCKY TO BOARD SINGAPORE AIRLINES! WITH JAPANESE FA!!!

  • Singapore Airlines hire girls from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc mainly for their language skills. Nothing unusual

  • cool

  • SINGAPORE AIRLINES WINS ONCE AGAIN AS "THE AIRLINE OF THE YEAR FOR 2008". "For the 3rd time in 10 years, Singapore Airlines has been named World's Best Airline, winning the 2008 Airline of the Year title in the latest World Airline Awards" said Edward Plaisted (CEO of Skytrax). "We extend our congratulations to them for this notable achievement, coinciding with the time that Singapore Airlines was the world's first airline to fly the Airbus A380."

  • I flew to Texas and back recently, and I kept my head down and my ear phones on the whole time because I couldn't stand to hear the SNOTTY attitude with which the attendants spoke. I WISH I'd been flying with such a friendly crew as the one in the video...

  • I think Singapore flight attendants are the most helpful and plite, even when it comes to dealing with some rude customers on their flights. I know that some F/A's on American airlines can be rude.

  • was it us airways?.....

  • I better clarify. Once seated, you get to choose a drink from a tray of glasses with champagne or fruit juice. After the door is closed and during pushback/taxi, the FAs will address you by name and ask for your choice from the drinks/cocktail menu, as seen in the video. This 2nd drink on board, will be served after take-off at cruise altitude, before meal service starts.

  • Post take off drinks is when the plane is still at the gate, or when the plane is preparing for push- back. At this time safety video is shown, of course before take-off.

  • This is a B777-200 right.

  • Yes that right!

  • Where is the personel television?

  • In armrest. This is regional layout. Longhaul aircraft has new business clas with large PTV´s.

  • i thought all SIA airplanes have televisions.

  • yes. ALL individual seats have their own 'televisions'. even in the economy class. =)

  • In the armrest! They is because it is a regional type of aircraft. THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE.

  • I have flown Singapore Airlines three thimes and i have to say without a doubt they are the most professional and efficient.

  • Response to a previous comment:

Flying SQ, whoo needs a ptv? The quality service makes up for no ptvs. :)

  • now that is what i call quality service. best crew = best airline

  • what happend to the PTVs ?

  • I think the PTVs are the flip-out kind. This is the older regional aircraft which will start to phase out in the next few years.

  • Oh, favorited.

  • Those are not flight attendants, there freakin super models! They're hair is done like brides, and thier uniform is so hot! not the typical flight attendant, and not a typical airline. SIA your number 1

  • breathtaking. the true and genuine service of the SQ girls

  • Good video! I haven't heard an F/A refer to themselves as a "Stewardess" in an announcement in a very long time.

  • really? what do they call themselves in other airlines? I've only ever been on malaysia or singapore airlines, and they always refer to themselves as stewardesses there.

  • They refer to themselves as Flight Attendants, Cabin Crew, or Crew Members. It must be an Asian thing referring to themselves as Stewardesses.

  • Are you a flyertalk / sqtalk member by any chance?

  • simplye lovely! i agree with the rest of the world, singapore girl you are truly a great and wonderful way to fly. You are an icon in the airline industry. The only airline sterwardess that became famous. you rock!

  • the reason why this airline is the best. Lovely singapore girls providing excellent service.

  • I agree. The SIA girls are beautiful.

By any chance, do they speak English? I'm in USA, and am monolingual English only. (unless I'm using Babelfish)

  • I can guarantee, they'll speak better English than you. ;-)

  • Yes, they'll speak english. English is one of the official languages of Singapore and the foreign crew must know it also. I think all SIA cabin crew are at least bilingual.

  • English is the prime language on the flights.

Depending on your destination, you might hear Swahili if you are heading to South Africa and even the annoucement is in Russian now that they extend the service to Moscow.

  • Excellent! At least it was smelling like food, when they took the orders :)And yes..they are pretty :)

  • What a wonderful video!
